Hello!

I did my half-marathon, 2:38 so not too bad at all. AND I ran all the way!

I've just got less than three weeks to go till the wedding, so eating is going to be scrupulously clean Oh. Apart from our day in Lille next Saturday. And the Hen Day.

Congrats Frus! Thirteen miles is a great achievement!!

Well, it looks like my plateau is over. I should be able to adjust my ticker by Wednesday (official weigh in). And it looks like I will meet my original goal by its original date after all

Well, I did get to adjust my ticker by one pound. I had come in below 120 yesterday, but seems it may have been a fluke. I'll take the one pound, though!

I haven't got my normal exercise in this week, so really need to focus on getting that back in - my schedule flopped and it has messed with my exercise times.

Good morning dears. I'm off to work this morning and then I have a chiropractors appt. I'm anxious to see what he says about my shoulders since I've done some upper body weight stuff.

Hi Featherweights!
I've been posting on the Weekly Goal Challenge, and this has helped me tremendously. October has been a great month for me. Although I am a slow loser, I lost 2 lbs. this month.

2f, congrats on the marathon!

Softballmom, congrats on your weightloss!

Have a great day, everybody!

Hello! I'm taking stock of this week and can safely say that my eating has been dreadful! Why? I'm exhausted! I could probably do with going home and going to bed, however the post-pregnant girl is back at kickboxing training and I WILL NOT LET HER BE BETTER THAN ME!!!!!!

I was planning on the gym tomorrow afternoon after work, but I'm thinking I really NEED a nap. We are off to Lille for the day on Saturday, another tiring day (I really don't like travelling) but we get to shop and sit in cafes and things so it can't be bad!

Sunday is a bit more wedding planning and baking those gingerbread men!

The chiropractor saw no other, than ordinary, wear and tear between my shoulders so I'm pretty happy. Maybe with a bit o'lifting ... there'll be even less than that next time.

Hey i haven't stepped on the scale in about 2 weeks...all my pants are getting baggy on me though...im not sure if this is a good thing. I haven't drastically changed anything about my lifestyle (other than having more stess) but i've still been eating the same diet and actually decreasing my exerciseing. I don't think it's muscle mass becuase I was only doing light swimming and walking, not weight training (plus that would be a very short time to lose muscle). I'm afraid if I up my calories I will be back at square one. Help...im afraid the scale won't move, and my clothes are getting to big, but I don't know why...im almost ready to start maintaing but unsure about how to do this reasonably and without adding inches/pounds.

Hi Jenna, I think you're just fine. Somewhere on 3FC, I've read just recently how it can take a year for your body to reshape itself. Things settle so to speak. There's never anything wrong with getting smaller without actual weight loss. That's the point, after all, isn't it?

Now I have to consider the task of maintaining, thats going to be a struggle in itself when it comes time!
Have a great day!

Wide--what are your stiches from? Did I miss something?

Frus--you NEED to sleep. It's all over the news lately, those that don't get enough sleep are the ones who are more likely to gain weight and be obese. You don't need that before your wedding! So, sleep in tomorrow or take a nap some afternoon. Your body will thank you.

chicky--over in the maintainers area there is a lot of discussion about body changes after the weight has come off. A lot of them say they are starting to get "curvy" again and clothes that are fitting differently. Head on over there and check it out. I lurked there for a few weeks and finally posted a few times there, although I don't consider myself a maintainer just yet.

Den@--way to go with the loss! I'm hoping for 1 pound this month--it's been extra slow! I lost 4 in September and then within a few days of October starting, I gained 2! They're off now, and I'm down .5 for October.

Susan--glad to hear there isn't too much wrong with your shoulders. Joint pain is bad. I've got it in my knees from years of abuse on the ski slopes when I was younger.

softballmom--go ahead and move that ticker!!! I always move mine when it goes down, but refuse to move it if it goes up. I just don't count it as a loss when I am "relosing" the pound or two that I gain.

Everyone have a wonderful weekend!!!
