I would complain to the company, someone above her, If they are going to provide unhealthy options then they need to provide healthier options like water. You shouldnt have to drink soda, if they are going to provide beverages than they should provide something for everyone. Or not provide them at all.

jendiet My life isn't exciting at all, because I am always home working on my projects and not out doing things regularly like my friends.

retiredone I am so sorry to hear that. A good friend of mine died yesterday, he was only 34 and died of pneumonia so it was unexpected, thus I am in sad mode myself.

spanky
That is completely unacceptable. I would go to your manager and complain that you want healthier choices which will support good health, productivity and not getting ill. If that doesn't work go to their manager... and go to HR. Just. Ridiculous.

I feel like crap. I lost a friend, I still have a lot of work to do and not much time to do it, not weighing right now because I am having bloaty allergies from **** and since neither of us can find a job we have to take money out of retirement AGAIN. Yeah, things could be better for me right now.

The fridge is still stocked with the bottled water--only it's to be offered to guests only at this site. So I'm being naughty: my move has been to keep refilling the last bottle I had. Now she keeps checking the fridge to count the guest bottles to see if I'm swiping them. Indoor sport at it's finest!

Walked the Skywalk today. So far on plan with the calories. Weigh in tomorrow.

Prinny I am so sorry about your friend--you must be in shock to lose someone so young to pneumonia.

retiredone I don't have siblings but I imagine is has to be so very hard for you.

cebsme Our church has a couple fabulous dinners and breakfasts several times a year. Just irresistible! Usually I just save calories up to use so I don't have to sit those meals out!

Have a great day.

OMG!!! retiredone! I am so sorry for your loss. Please take time to grieve and rest.

Prinny-still sounds like fun.

ok, beach bum. Well I am naturally eating only 600-700 calories on my low carb day. I try to keep my carbs below 40g. I start eating at 2pm too on my low days. So, tomorrow is my higher carb, higher calorie day. I again ate 700 cs today. 700/1700 is what I seem to be doing. That is averaging to a lovely 1270 cs per day.

spanky, I would be upset. Is your office also cliquey? mine was. I hated it. I refused to become a part of a clique in an office. Can y ou bring your own water/coffee?

Spanky- Number one I can't believe she said that! Number two, why wouldn't they cut out some of the more expensive options, does she have to have these cuts approved?

Retiredone-I'm so sorry to hear about your mom Take Care.

Cebsme-good luck on school and the new workout plan

Beachbum-yeah I love to cook, but its usually stuff thats not good for me. Guess thats why I'm here

dgramie-4lbs is great!! Keep up the hardwork and you'll be back to your lowest wt in no time.

prinny- Life sucks sometimes, hang in there. I'm sorry for your loss

For some reason I can't sleep tonight! Of course now that I'm thinking about laying down...DS is crying out for me...UGH!! Its gonna be a long day.

Good Morning Ladies

Not feeling well, have some type of a tummy ache, but fortunately I on my low day of eating and with chamomile tea I should be better in no time.

Can't stand this heat anymore, haven't done anything but trying to stay cool. Some time today I have to get my dust bunnies at bay, otherwise DH & I will be having difficulty breathing.Have the A/C going in the living room so it will nice a cool in there when tackling them.

Other than that nothing really new,Going to ride my bike with some sort of a spinning, while watch a DVD on my computer this afternoon.

CEBME-Good Luck and have a good school year.Never went to college but my sister & my DD have, and I remember the homework & studying in to the weird hours of night.Hope your new plan of exercising works around your college life.

RETIRE-WELCOME WELCOME back, missed you and the old gang. Glad you had a great time at the wedding ,but how sad it must have been for you when your mom passed unexpectedly. So sorry that you had to go though with this right after you son wedding. Hope that you'll find peace and comfort soon,we do understand its going to take a while, but if you need us we're always here for you.

SPANKY-NO, YOU DON'T HAVE TO DRINK POP LIKE THE REST OF US. Who is this woman????? The bosses daughter???? I agree with the rest I would complain about her. I think its time that you bring your own coffee thermos and cold bottles of water and put them in the refrig. That's terrible that you must supply your own needs, but if that what you have to do, so be it. Curious what type of work do you do?????that bottled water is only for the site????

PRINNY-Oh no,so sorry about your friend passing also, and now taking money out of your retirement saving when does this wheel stop spinning. You've gone though so much this year, try to take a breather now and than.Things will have to look brighter for you guys soon.

JENDIET-Ok so you've been doing that all along, only with the carb thing.I do believe that this way of counting calories does work for me,lots of woman on another board won't go on as they feel low calories will starve the body to death. That's not true, cause you going back on the high calories the next day.It just like the WW wendie plan but they use points instead of calories. I'm staying with the 600/1600 until I get down to the 150's and than up my calories to what you're doing now.

DREAM-Isn't that the true, cooking does making the pounds go up,but I love it. The only time I eat more salad than cook is in the hot summer months. Try to take a nap when she goes down for hers.

Hey There!

On Plan day today so far. Also walked the Skywalk. Been working at another site so no contact with my nemesis. Now that I'm back to my desk here, though, a 12" X 12" X 2" inch chocolate chunk brownie has suddenly appeared on the kitchen counter......

I just ate my turkey and wait for quittin' time!

Best wishes to all,

spanky

Had a bad eating day yesterday because I felt snacky. I blame the PMS. I don't go over maintenance so no biggy. I have pretty much accepted I'm not going to hit goal in the next 2 weeks but it's really not a huge deal as long as I don't gain. I can mostly fit into the pants. They are a little tight around my tummy but I can bend over without disaster so I can live with that.

This is one of my usual mid-workout posts. About to get on the bike for a while, then shower then I need to get a little costuming done before bed.

HI

Had a trying day DH had to go the an emergency visit to the cancer center. The chemo he had last week brought out a radiation burn on his chest. They gave us cream to put on the rash. Have to go back on Friday to see the doctor and re-schedule chemo treatment starting next week.

Was surprised with all this going on I keep away from goodies & snacks and this morning I was down 2 lbs but not going to get excited yet,as this happens to me mid week and than by my W-I it disappears.

Other everything here is quite.

DGRAMIE-Sorry to hear about her first grandchild.Crossing fingers and sending [[[[[good vibes]]]]] that your best friend new grand child will be healthy, and all will be fine.

SPANKY-You're doing great walking the sky walk. Some one is trying to temp you with the brownie,TG you had your turkey instead.

PRINNY-You're so near goal why worry especially if your PMSing..You body doesn't want to respond at this time, you'll lose to those last couple of inches.

Blech. Went waaay off plan after I got home last night. I swear that even after menopause, I still get that monthly "GOTTA EAT" thing that I had before--like clockwork.

Trying to reform myself today....worrying because I know that tomorrow's visit by the boss will be another round of Carb Orgies.

Sigh...

Hi Ladies

Going to be another HHH day and today is my low calorie day,so instead of heavy meal I tending to have a mixture of fruit & veggie salad for the meal meal.

Worked out on my bike for 40 mins and than on hands knees cleaning our area rugs for almost 1/2 hr, so I'm counting that toward exercising, working arm muscles. Today I taking it easy, now that I'm on the cal day.

SPANKY-The older you get the harder it is to break habits. You have to find low cal snacks like fruit or veggies to nibble on. That's what I have been doing, except for Saturday Movie Night I must have my popcorn.

DGRAMIE-Congrats and best wishes to your friend and you for the new baby girl in the family. Thanks, looks like the cream is working the redness finally fading. Got on my scale this morning and I stayed the same from yesterday to today.

PRINNY-Sorry about your having a snacky day,we all have that, snacking is ok,but you have to snack on the right foods.

Beach-Housework is definitely great exercising. I know today I am cleaning the kitchen (big grocery day) and I am looking forward to seeing how many calories I burn.

Spanky- An friend of mine says that she still gets monthly cravings and she had a complete hysterectomy years ago.

DGRAMIE- I am so happy for your friends, this is a time when the world needs more blessings.

PRINNY- ahh the snacky days. But like you said you didn't go over maintenance, and for some reason your body seems to be happy here for now.

Well the next month or so for me is going to be not about getting overwhelmed and forgetting about eating healthier. Yesterday I spoke to my dad, whom has to have surgery on the 23rd of September to remove some kind of large growth from the inside of his foot. He has to be put under general anesthesia and with his diabetes and heart condition there is more of a risk to that. Its kind of difficult because I know that my dad is very scared he won't wake up from this, although I know this doctor wouldn't do this surgery if she wasn't confident. On top of that I know that because of his wishes they will not do any live saving measures. So exactly 2 weeks before my 26th birthday, I sit here today trying to help my dad figure out wills while still being strong for him.

The stress usually messes up my eating, and with school starting Tuesday of next week I need to keep my head about me.
