Great job Mama!!!! I'm just so excited that I completed week 5 day 3 on Friday. AHHHH... I just realized that today I should be doing week 6 day 1 but that I have plans tonight... I might have to go home early and get that run in before "the plans!"

Hi everyone!

This weekend was tough. Busy running around so I didn't get much accomplished. Saturday eating was not the greatest. Did OK Sunday and I did get some exercise on the treadmill. It wasn't a total loss!

Hope everyone has a great day and accomplishes many goals!

I haven't done it YET Mama! Don't give me credit until I report back tomorrow. Cuze running means taking another shower...getting ready all over....geez - I sound like one of those people that are full of excuses! teehee!

So far so good for me here. I am about to go eat lunch, but feeling very strong and determined, which hasn't happened in awhile so I feel like I may finally be back on the losing track...finnnalllly~

Starting a new week. Wasn't too sucessful last week. Especially the weekend. A few things happened and went downhill, but I'm ready for a new week.

So far so good this week Sunday had a few slips but Monday went well. I started the Couch to 5K program yesterday and had an extreme eating day and it all paid off with a 5.4 pound loss yesterday! I highly doubt I can repeat that (and likely should NOT) I had a slim fast for each breaky, lunch and supper and a couple apples for snacks. Likely way too few calories for the day but it did kick-start things for me and now my motivation is PUMPED!! I amheading out to get some shopping done this afternoon and plan to scan and make copies of my "skinny" picture (back from highschool when I weighed around 175 and wore a size 11 and felt greaat). I'll post a picture here (partly for motivation but partly for the fun of laughing at the early 80s hair, glasses and outfit!) I also plan on posting the picture on the fridge and cupboard doors so I see and it remember my goal whenever I am tempted to fall off the wagon and eat Let's keep up the good work gang!

I used to be a runner and have fallen off that wagon. I know how good it made me feel (and how much I was able to eat and still lose). Hubby and I have actually run a half marathon once (in 2005) I'm not sure if I am keen on doing that again (13 or so miles is a heck of a long way!!) I do however want to get back to a regular running routine. I think building up to running 5K three times a week will do me good and is my fitness goal When we trained for the half marathon we used a similar training program (it might even be from the same webpage). They have a really good system set up that is really do-able.

I'm ready for fresh start too, barbarajean and Mama! Yesterday was so blah after an equally blah weekend but I'm in a much better mood today and ready to tackle my goals!

Awesome loss econ! I don't know if I've ever seen such a large number missing on the scale! Congrats to you! I'm also thinking about dragging out some old pics of myself for inspiration. But I think if I do I'll tack them up in the pantry ... right on the snack bins! lol

Have a great day everyone!

I had a lunch meeting and didn't do too bad with the choices they had - chicken, veggies and penne pasta in an alfredo type sauce and salad. I had a chicken breast and picked veggies out of the pasta (and had a little bit of the pasta), lotsa salad and a bun (and skipped the dessert - lemon slice - which I have had before and it's not worth it ) I done good
