100 Percent Commitment
I know it's hard to stay on top of your workouts AND your eating every day, and believe me, I know that no one's perfect (including me!). We all fall off the diet and fitness wagon — the important thing is how quickly we recover. Here's what one teammate has said about dealing with slipups:
"I've had some success with this program, and I can definitely see an improvement in my body; however, I have not seen the progress I might have, because I haven't been committing to it fully. I do the workouts and eat well for a week, then skip a workout here or there, or let my PMS symptoms throw me off track, and before I know it, I'm hitting the drive-thru and not doing my workouts — you get the picture.
So I'm here on the Message Boards to say that I'm going to fully commit to changing my lifestyle: I will make healthy food choices and exercise on a regular basis — and if I do slip up, I'm not going to let it completely throw me off track any more.
I'm excited about this journey and know that I will reach all my goals, with the support of all of you behind me. So, for the rest of you out there, let's make a commitment to ourselves and each other to do this thing right."
Right on. Once you figure out what you need to do to get back on track quickly and completely after a slipup, write it down! If you capture what works (and what doesn't!) in your online Fitness Diary, you will have your own little survival guide to refer to if it happens again.
