It's really cold here today, England has been brought to a near standstill due to the snow...us here in Gloucester haven't got a snowflake to call our own!! My kids are so dissapointed as our friends in the North East have had over 5" in one night!!! lol We are in a sort of bowl and this protects us from all the extreme weather conditions that others face!!! I could do with one of those scarfes that Grassie's BF is knitting...is he taking orders yet??

Asked Hubby how many magazines less does he weigh this morning...'fink he's embarrassed about his confession yesterday coz he grumpily said that he didn't bother wieghing himself today!!! lol

Hi guys! Wow a foot of snow! Our road is an ice rink but the main roads are cleared now and everyone is ready to get back to work! I even tried to go to the gym today but it is still closed.

TF - 2 interviews - that's GREAT! I know what you mean though about it being weird to be the one answering all the questions after so long on the other side of the desk!

Today I find out all of my food sensitivities. Round 2 with the doc. I discovered this week that nuts are out. Now that I have some of the junk cleaned out of my body I can tell when I get something that doesn't work for me. But this weeks diet has been limitted. Eggs, Brown rice, Lean red meat, cabbage, spinach, avocado and pears. Oh, and chicken soup. With all that I only dropped 2 1/2 pounds!

Well, guys have a great day - and HS I think BF gave up knitting - he jammed the machine pretty good and couldn't figure out how to fix it, so he gave up. I have 2/3rds of a scarf right now

TF...I'll gladly send your kids ALL of my snow! AND the wind! It's brutally cold again here this AM and incredibly windy....heheh weighing in with the magazines...yes I fink he's embarrasssed.

Grassie, dang! and my horses were looking forward to their matching scarvies...bad BF!! tell him to fix it and get knitting! At least you made it to the Gym...not your fault it was closed.

I'm going racing tonite, so I'll be freezing my butt off. warm in the barns...but cold on the track....grrrrrrrrrr

Morning everyone!!

It snowed here for 20mins!!!! it was blowing horizontialy and gave really good ground cover...then STOPPED!!! It was too later for the kids to go out and play in it and bit's all but gone this morning! All school are still OPEN! so kids are furious!!! LOL

My last day at work tomorrow and all the parents are coming in with wine and chocolates as leaving presents...so bang goes the diet!!! we also off to the pub tomorrow evening after we close...so I'll be back on the wagon on monday ok??

Hello fellow Scale addicts...

Well, this scale addict is more addicted than EVER , right now..

I just found out I am pregnant.........AGAIN....
I have a almost 3 year old and a 6 month old...and now I will have yet another one....
SO, I am completely determined not to gain veyr much weight....as little as POSSIBLE, which has made me more of a scale addict then I ever thought possible.
SO, my weight is still going down, I am at 140.0....Last august 1st/03 AFTER I had my son I was 215....I dont want to see numbers even remotely close to that........I am willing to gain 20 lbs and that is IT!! *fingers crossed* so, I must work harder then ever now, but more than that I am going to continue to run and workout...and hopefully, it will help!

Congrats Leanne! And as Tulip said...don't go overboard...they say that between 20 and 35lbs is a good weight to gain. So that won't be too bad. And STAY ACTIVE...

Congrats to you too Tulip! I truly believe that saying abouthe doors. It sounds like it might be a good change from what you were doing also! Hope it all works out.

Racing sucked...it was so cold that my fingers hurt! And that was WITH gloves...poor horse came in bleeding a bit from her nose because the lining in her nostrils burst from the cold...nothing bad...very common in racehorses. So she's off for a while now.

Eating has been going well, but I'm still afraid of getting on the scale because I feel all bloated. I hate that feeling.

Hope everyone has a nice Sunday...I have to clean out the kitty litter box...eeeeeewwwwwwwwww....

Howdie doodie everyone. Hope this Monday Morning will be finding everyone bright eyed and bushy tailed! Of course, Tulip is already in her noon hours! Just thought I'd pop on early so we don't get dropped off the board!

Well, I didnt weigh myself...will do that tomorrow. BUT I have eaten very well today! And yes Tulip, I did thaw out..we finally got above freezing. The sun was out and melted so much of the snow that I can see the pavement on the parking lot at work. It was a great day today, Jillybean has finally been allowed to retire from racing and she moved down the broodmare barn today! She's officially going to be a momma now. She'll be bred in April for a March '05 baby. I'm sooooo happy. Now I have just inherited her baby brother Jack!lol Hmmm do you see a trend here? Jill, June, Jack? I think my boss has an issue with naming his horses after people.

Alrighty....got on the scale this morning...170. I've lost 3lbs...but am still up 2 from pre xmas weight. Today I am going to see if I have the willpower to hit the gym. I'm really trying to up my water intake as well. drinking alot of greentea and water. Hope everyone had a great weekend...tomorrow is Humpday and Payday! YAYYYYY going to go buy myself new running shoes and some workout clothes.

It's raining here this AM, and melting the snow...but I'm worried that it'll suddenly turn cold and turn everything to a nasty slick of ice.

TF- you are SO right, I am fighting off morning sickness like crazy...hey, arent all days in England grey and wet??? My mom is originally from England, but you'd never know as she lost her accent, but is a tea/coronation street addict....*L*

YEs, this is DEFINITELY a horrible time during pregnancy...usually until noon I feel awful then fine until bedtime....oh well, at least I am healthy for this pregnancy...

Hi Everyone!!! Sorry I've been gone so long. The snow and ice really did a number on us! We thought we were going to get another storm last night but it didn't happen.

Leanne - CONGRATULATIONS!! Another baby - wow. You obviously have tons of energy!! Cheers to you!!!!

TF - I'm so glad you have job offers!! Congratulations to you too!

And HS - You're almost back to your per xmas weight - good for you!!! Feels great, doesn't it! Congratulations to you too.

As for me. Food tests did not go in my favor. I can eat. Meat, (excluding pork) green veggies, pears, prunes, and brown rice - oh and deer park water.

I'm told this will only be for 3-6 months and I will be able to slowly add things back in. I was so depressed until Saturday morning - I went to our Whole Foods store and found out just how many things are made with Brown Rice Flour. I'm much better now.

The good news is that since my visit with him 2 weeks ago I've dropped 6 pounds. I now weigh 135. That was my goal before Christmas but I got slack and ony made it to 137 - then gained over the break.

I guess more good news is that my brain is finally not feeling so ADD and I am sleeping much better - so I have more energy. I'm not ready to collapse all the time anymore. I'm also not in nearly as much pain. It's enough that I'm willing to give the Good Doctor 3-6 months of this.

I go back tomorrow to start detoxing of chemical and metal poisons. Not sure what is in store. I've felt really really bad after the past two visits - for about 3 days. I'm told this one is huge. We'll see.

I'll do better at staying on the board - I missed you guys!!! mrm
