Howdy Doody Ladies!
Pam, so much sadness all around you these days, but hang in there as the days will get better once everyone adjusts more, and they will. As you said, it is a blessing that your MIL doesn't comprehend the whole situation, and both are safer where they are. I know. it's easy to rationalize, but accepting is a whole other matter.
And, as far as your friend, no divorce is ever easy and there really isn't a good time, but at least the baby is too young to really understand the full scope of it all. Just remember that you can't change things you have no control over. But Zanax helps! Hugs, lady.
Whoa, smartie pants, great grade on your course!!!
Hey, Carol, long time no "see!" Enjoy your weekend -- try to get in a lot of walking to compensate for the extra goodies we all indulge in when we are on holiday. Tomorrow's always another day ....

my favorite motto lately!
Yo, Cat!
Happy belated birthday -- "Old Misery" sounds like one of the rodeo horses. What a wife! The weather here has been rainy, rainy, rainy and the forecast calls for more rain thru Monday. So much for Memorial Day Weekend -- not that we ever do much anyway! And, it's cold and dreary to boot -- April weather. We seem to be one month behind here in New England.
I had a virus (thanks to Chris!) that came in thru Kaza, which is what he downloads his music files (as in 1600 songs) and TV Shows with (all the episodes of Seinfeld). Blew out my Norton Antivirus and then my internet died, along with the printer, etc.
I was planning to have Staples do the upgrade (reformat the old hard drive, put in a second one, add more memory, check it all out) but held off one week because all the hardware I needed was going on sale (as in big discounts!). Plus, we get money back for every purchase we make (with their 'Dividend Card' program. It's sizeable because Russ does a lot of shipping thru there too -- got a free scanner, a big computer chair, a new monitor. It was worth the wait.
So now I am installing all the software. Can't get the soundcard to work nor my Palm to do a full hotsync, but that's tomorrow's problem. I am just so happy to be back on the boards!!!
OK, time to get some supper going and then watch CSI tonight -- two shows. Love CSI and Law and Order if I do say so myself.
Add me in to the novel writers here -- I need to make up for lost time

.
Have a great evening and see you in the AM.
Always, Terry
