  • Yikes I haven't updated in here for awhile!

I'm .6 away from my Christmas goal! I'm hoping to get there within the next couple of days. I'd like to ideally be 1 or 2 lbs lower than that by Christmas as sort of a buffer for whatever hurdle that day throws my way! But we shall see!
  • I haven't been sticking to the Insanity workout plan like I was going to. I do it about every other day, but the calendar says it should be every day. And sometimes I mix up the workouts if I feel like I need more cardio than strength because I've eaten something I shouldn't. I'm not considering myself a failure just yet but after Christmas I plan on starting over and sticking to the calendar. (I would start now but I'm going away next week and won't be able to do Insanity anyway). It probably doesn't matter much but I would feel better doing the workouts I'm "supposed" to do.
  • Long time no post!
Hi everyone! I am returning to 3FC after many months away...I was a regular challenge participant with FP and TC and then once my new semester got underway I couldn't keep up with the boards. Now I've just finished my exams (I'm a law student) and am reconnecting with this community after so many months away.

When I started my weight loss journey at the beginning of summer 2009, I was aiming to lose 10% of my body weight. I wanted to do it by mid-fall, but I'm still plugging away at it! But I'm so close! It may seem like a minor victory, but I'm thrilled that I managed to lose 5 pounds over the course of the semester. It was the most stressful 3 months I can remember and I managed to reverse my usual stress-response of packing on the pounds. Now I'm just 4 lbs away from my 10% goal and I'm looking forward to taking off another 10% and hope to do so by next summer.

Just wanted to say hi and hopefully I'll join you all for a challenge into the spring! Congrats to all of you on your hard work and your progress -- those pounds are really coming off!

    Cheers,
    kp
  • Couldn't weigh in all weekend due to being away for my ski trip, but at the end of the day (and after eating) I hopped on the scale and got a happy surprise!

kpme - hey there! glad to see you! I'm happy to hear your semester went well..what a relief to have that behind you! I would love to join you for a spring challenge.

platform - NICE JOB on the loss!!!

Tiffany - I've also had a hard time sticking to the chalean extreme calendar during the holidays. My schedule is so random and full that I just haven't had the time or energy to do the workouts. I too plan on starting back up in January when my travel settles down.

Well here is my check in...
