Hope everyone had a great day! Pat took the day off so he could spend it with me. We didn't do anything special except take his car in the shop. Then when we picked it up, we had dinner at our favorite pizza place. It's just not close to home so we don't get to eat there often. (The kitty is great and very active!!!)

Tina, I will put your brother in law on our prayer list.

Dori, glad you are not going to be home alone.

Tammy, could Bob's confusion be due to his low blood pressure? If he doesn't have a high enough blood pressure then he isn't getting enough blood flow or oxygen in his blood.

Well, I didn't make my goal of losing 15 pounds but that's ok. I've worked hard.

Happy Birthday a little late! Hope it was great!!

The confusion that Bob is having is from the liver disease. The blood pressure is right where the doctor wants it because if it goes up too much, it can cause him problems with the liver and the esophagus from when he was ill in September.

We leave tomorrow afternoon, and we'll be home sometime on Sunday. My niece gets married on Saturday.

Good news, my brother-in-law's cancer has not spread. It's just in that one area. It is a very agreesive kind so, hopefully, they'll start treatment soon.

It's soooo hot here. I need to get in a pool with scuba gear on-- so I could sit on the bottom.
No telling how expensive our electric bill will be this next time.

Tina, it's HOT here too!!!! Wonderful news about your brother in law!!! I'm sure they will treat it right away.

My allergies are working OVERTIME today! I feel lousy because of them but I still worked out. My trainer said "I can see you aren't yourself so we are going to do something a little different." I really like her.

Ok, ya'll say a prayer that my brother in law gets this teaching job he has applied for. He has had 2 interviews and it's the district where he subbed all this past spring and is doing summer school as well. My older sister is picking up an extra shift at the hospital because he is making such a career change. I just want them to say "He got the job" It will be a relief for everyone.

Tomorrow is mowing day. Yea!!!! I'm sure that won't help my allergies but hopefully after a good night of sleep it will help and I'll wake up feeling better.

Good Morning Sunshines!!!!!

We got in last night - our flights were great! An hour and a half and we were there!!!!!! I'm never driving again! haha! The beach was beautiful as usual. We had some rain the first couple of days, even tornado warnings. Those nights we rented chick flicks and stayed at the condo. We shopped and ate and shopped and ate! I yi yi! I'm not even going near the scale until Thursday. I have promised myself to get right back at it. Although, with all the walking and really I only ate one higher calorie meal a day, I may be ok. But still...........I'm not looking! haha! Oh, can I mention that my husband met us a the baggage claim with a single red rose with a big red bow for each of us. He was soooooooo happy to see us. ****I'm glad he missed us!****

Susan - HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!!!!: So glad the kitty is wonderful. Did you name him yet? When will we know if your brother in law got the job? I'll say a prayer for him!

Jeanne, Glad you are back! I love the picture of you. You deserved to have such a wonderful trip and greeting when you got back. It sounds like your husband missed ya'll. How are you feeling?

The kitten's name is Bobbie. Pat said it should be with a y and not ie. I just laughed. He named him. all of our animals have names that start with B's.

Jeanne, you were missed! I'm glad you're back. Wow, it sounds like you had a restful, relaxing time of it. Boy, you have one great husband. I'm sure he and the dog missed you. Good luck unpacking. That always takes me a week. I just hate taking everything out.
My brother-in-law still has to see the urologist about what treatments to have. I think I'd already be on his doorstep, asking how soon to start. These doctors take their time.

The wedding was beautiful, and yes, I cried. We were on our way on Friday, had to turn around and come back because Bob was feeling pretty bad. I went on by myself then. Had plenty of people to keep me company, and I really did have a nice time although I worried about Bob. I knew Tim was home, so that helped.

Oh Tammy, I'm so sorry Bob felt bad and missed the wedding--and being with you. How is he today???

Hey, I had a good OP weekend. Maybe that will show up on the Thursday weigh-in.

Tina, I honestly think that Bob was nervous because he might get sick, and I think that made him sick. does that make sense?? I talked to Tim a couple times over the weekend, and he said Bob seemed to be fine. I think he needs to see a counselor, but he doesn't think so.

I had both classes this morning. Last Friday at the first class we weighed (still the same) and she also checked our body fat to compare to when we started. Mine stayed exactly the same! I was upset. She knows how hard I have worked in the class, and even she can see a change in me. She thinks that maybe the machine wasn't working right. Well today I talked to some of the others in the class, and out of all of us there this morning, only 1 person went down in body fat. A couple women even went up! There has to be something wrong with the machine.

The dress I wore to the rehearsal dinner was interesting. The waist was supposed to be AT my waist. It was a few inches below, so it looked really ducky. I didn't have anything else to wear, so I wore it. It was sure alot longer than when I first bought it a couple months ago!! lol

Good morning ladies. It's great to be back. I feel pretty good. Tomorrow I have a follow up appt to get the staples out. On Monday, I go back to the urologist to have the other 9 staples removed and then I will be heading down to Mexico Beach to join Justin and the kids. I'm looking forward to it.
