Job 1:21
'. . .Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.'

Stella was extremely frustrated. She had worked so hard to lose weight. She had done a great job, but now it was even harder to keep it off. She felt she was doing a good job of eating the right foods in small quantities, but when she'd step on the scales, she would find her weight creeping up. She always thought that once she got her weight down, everything would be easy. Boy, was that false! Weight-watching was a full-time job! Stella used to pray for God to keep her in line, but now the prayers were needed all the time. It just went to prove that nothing could be taken for granted. Good things don't come easy, but they're still worth having.

Today's thought: Lord, give me strength, but take my weight problem!

Hi Everyone!

I want to get this out, I am really struggling again with my food. I don't know why. I don't know what the problem is. I feel frustrated with everything. I am even feeling kinda "blue" or sad and I don't know why.

Steps from yesterday: 8,650

Luke 19:40
And he answered and said unto them, 'I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.'

Preston could hardly contain his excitement as the plane approached its landing. He hadn't seen his sister in over a year. At their last meeting he had weighed about 260 pounds. Now, he was a trim 180. He couldn't wait to see her face. He never remembered being so anxious to see anyone before in his life. It was important to him to please his family, and he knew nothing would please his sister more than to see him looking so good. God give us such experiences to make our sacrifices worthwhile. We can be thankful that God motivates us in such loving ways. With His blessed help, we can't keep from succeeding.

Today's thought: I want others to see me like they've never seen me before!

Nettnett Thank you very much. I appreciate your prayer. It helped. I felt better as my day went along. I'm curious if this feeling is menopause related. **If anyone has experience with this, please share** The last few months I have had "waves" of feeling like this. My TOM ended in 2017. I have never really been a depressed/blue type person. I am more of an anxiety type person. This feeling doesn't last very long, usually a half a day or so.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Hello everyone, been a day or too.....
Diana3271 I am 'post' menopausal and yes these waves come and go. The feeling blue and depressed yes I have experienced it and I am not a 'blues' type of person either. I found if I can find a new project or activity that would help. i.e. start a new painting, find a project I think I could complete like painting the walls lol you get the idea. I will continue to pray for you, I think of your success of your journey and it inspires me.

Now on to my mental health too. My sister got me going back to online ww. When we moved across the country I broke my habit of weighing in every day and logging, this had gone on for over 15 years and I have the logs to prove it. So I stopped weighing daily and do it maybe once a month or at a Dr. appt. My weight has stayed withing 10 +/- and I ate when I was hungry and stopped when full AND the alcohol cravings almost were gone . Since starting ww again I am obsessing on food and exercise again. The weekly weigh in's, the planning your 'cheat day' so it is gone for weigh in.....you get the picture. So yesterday I took the app off my 'home screen' and am no longer logging my food or will weigh in. The plus side is I am back to working out which I will continue and I put my snacks and alcohol away. Both which showed back up getting to be more and more each evening while I was logging. Sometimes conventional just does not work.

Thank you for reading
I will check in as I can but again this is part of a trigger for me

Matthew 13:44
'Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.'

Kris would give anything to be thin again. She was willing to diet, she was willing to exercise, she was willing to try anything. Following a number of traumatic experiences in her life, she had let herself go, but now she regretted it with all her heart. Earnestly she began to pray to God. Within a few weeks, her dieting was beginning to pay off. Delighted with the results, she doubled her efforts, with her doctor's permission, and devoted herself to her diet, body, mind, and soul. For the first time in years, she found herself happy and content. The joy she found was a blessed gift from God.

Today's thought: I'm looking for little victories to keep me dieting!

It could very well be menopauseal. Im 75 and still have those feeling often. It might be worth talking to your doctor. Hormones can vary in each person. Especially us women.
