Hi! Here I am! I have a 3 month old. Been breastfeeding and wanting to do so for another 3 months. I was 235 at my heaviest and now I'm at around 204. I tried going on a stricker diet the other week and noticed a drop in my milk so I stopped it after a week in. Decided to do simple changes to my diet and do more exercise.

Looks like this thread has been pretty inactive, but thought I'd try to reinvigorate it. I have a 2 month old baby. I'm not really starting to actively try to lose weight yet besides upping my activity. Just thought it would be nice to hear experiences of ladies who have went through this experience and what your successes/ trials were needing to drop lbs but prioritizing providing a healthy milk supply for your precious baby.

Hey! I'm nursing an eight month old. Whenever I've felt starving I'd go ahead and eat even if it meant going over my calorie goals. I've also been setting my calorie goals fairly high.

Hi there! I'm nursing a 6 month old and trying to get back on the fitness train. I work full time, so I pump during the day and nurse at night. Really struggling with losing the rest of this weight! I've lost about 25 of the 40 I gained during pregnancy, but want to lose about 30 more. I really thought breastfeeding would be enough but it definitely hasn't been. I've been adjusting my diet and trying to fit in workouts everyday. It's just hard to fit it all in! Glad to know I'm not alone 😀

Nursing and dieting was so easy for all of the other moms, it seemed like.

They would tell me;
Oh, it's just falling right off.

Meanwhile, I'm doing the same PT and any decrease in diet found my milk supply dropping.

Ugh.

Anyway, best of luck to you.
My son is now a few months away from being 4 and I'm still holding onto this weight as if it's a life raft.

Hi there, I had twins a week ago today and I'm looking forward to nursing while also maintaining healthy habits. I'm not particularly aiming to lose weight, more not to pile it on like I usually do when I'm BFing.
