Anyone else having trouble running Outlook Express and MSN - if I try opening MSN when I am using OE the computer crashes immediately.

Is anyone in any way a bit of an expert on 'puters....? Or has a husband/child who knows about these things.....?????? Doris (my 'puter) runs on Windows 95 and DH has bought a copy of Windows 98 from a friend who got it at a computer fair. I would dearly love to know if I am going to wipe all the info I have got on Doris when I load it and whether an elderly old lady like Doris (who is over 4 years old) will blow up if we try and give her a face lift with Windows 98??

I hope this works...

To put an emoticon against your name in MSN you need to first of all click on this link and then decide which emoticon you want to use.

http://help.microsoft.com/EN_US/Help...ger&Filter=msn

Then you need to double click on the MSN icon on the bottom right of your screen

Then left hand click on your name and then click on the bit that says Personal Settings

You will then see a thingy that says Options at the top and your chosen user name part way down

Just put your chosen emoticon either before or after your name and click OK.

I hope it works.

go to msn.co.uk and then set up a hotmail account. Once you have a hotmail account you should be able to download MSN Messenger and use your hotmail address and password to sign you into what MSN call a passport. This then allows you access to the world of messenger.

Hope this helps

If not shout

Once you set up your hotmail address, post it on here and then we can add you to our MSN contacts. If you don't have messenger or a msn passport, the email that one of us sends to you should have a bit included from MSN which explains how you get a passport and access to messenger.
