You're so close! Way to go!

Thank you! The encouragement really helps.

Wow! Only half a pound to go before you're out of the 130s. You're so close..

I know! It's tempting to be extreme to try to get that little bit off, but I'm going to hold true to the methods that have gotten me this far. Thank you for the support.

That's the best way. Ironic that I'm now eating more than ever and still losing.

maybe we can move to the 120s thread together in a week or so? I'm a bit sad about leaving this one.
  • Well I've gone and done it. Escorted myself out of the 130s club in the WRONG direction. For the last 2 days I've been over 140 lbs. <sigh>
It still amazes me how quickly I can pack it on - that's 9 lbs over my low about 2 months ago. And no, I'm not like some I see around here who bounce up and down radically. I had been holding at around 135 for nearly a year.... managed to claw my way down to 131 with some serious dedication and now that's all shot to he||

Anyway I am plugging along with renewed dedication and hope to rejoin y'all for real soon.

to all of you leaving, or close to leaving, in the proper direction!
  • I'm looking forward to the 120's too!
  • I weighed in at 130.6 today. I can see the light at the tunnel. I'm looking forward to seeing the 120s. The tunnel may be dark in the 120s for a couple months or so but this will be all worth it in the end.

ETA: I'm no longer considered overweight according to my BMI. Yay!
  • Congrats on the BMI victory Ryler832!

I reached that recently but wasn't aware, at 131.8. This morning I was 131.6.

Thank you. Congrats to you as well. 0.2 lb loss is better than any weight gain.

My only problem is that I do not need to 'get out of' the 120's bracket! I need to be right smack dab in the middle of it instead!

EmmaD: Don't feel discouraged. It's normal to go up and down and the most important part of this journey is your personal health. You've done it before and you will do it again as long as you take heart!
  • Oh and a big congratulations, Ryler832! You're so very close. We're all cheering you on from the sidelines.

Thanks Penelope. I just weighed myself again and the scale read 129.8 lb. I am so excited but I don't know if it'll stick but I'll take it for the time being.
  • This is probably because my body is no longer holding onto an excess of monthly water weight anymore... but today I weighed in at 128.8! Wooohooo.
