I eat large salads and over 3 cups of veggies per day, so I think I can swing it. Plus I am not sure if I mentioned this, but I had Weght Loss Surgery 8 years ago, so I am sure that helps too.
Anyone have any input on success of not doing the IP packets, but still doing the diet?
I haven't tried substituting but I do notice that the packets are all +/- 100 calories!! I haven't looked to guage the protein amounts vs the carb amounts, but I know protien high, carbs low. If you watch all that you are doing you will be close to what Phase 2 on the diet is.Originally Posted by sbinkerd1
My wife and I are on this plan. it seems great except for the expense. Hers and Mine come to 170 bucks a week plus our grocery bill which seems to be between 120 and 160 each week. we are going broke with this and bills to pay. I am going to continue with the diet sans IP packets, but replacing with protein such as low fat fish, chicken or pork.
