Anagram, you have such a way with words -- reminded of my sister one time saying "The human body is a very gross thing." I totally missed the part about cinnamon. I put it in my oatmeal (which is pretty much always breakfast) and in chai (which I drink pretty regularly). I ordered the book from Amazon and am looking forward to finding out about the fine points. I was happy to find so much support for what I truly believe is a plan that will work for anyone. I think the problem is that it seems so drastic to cut out sugar, white stuff and unhealthy oils. People think "Yeah, that might work but it's just too strict." I do find, though, that it gets pretty easy -- cravings go away, hunger is diminished and I feel much, much better physically, mentally, spiritually.
Wow -- 45 pounds off is EXCELLENT! I hadn't realized how far you've come. As for that "so close" thing, I find that any milestone like that tends to elicit some kind of resistance when I hover around it. Takes a while to cross over. That said, though, you're almost there!

Kudos on the good medical results, too

Ceara, I had a little difficulty with the new site the first time or two that I visited but then things got much better. I do like all the resources on the site and the capacity to collect all those points. Not meaningless, really, because we earn them by doing things that will serve us well in the battle.
K, DGS is here and we must go make brekkies... Let's make this a good one!

. I think of how I felt just 25 pounds ago, and I don't want to go back there.

So far, though, even when the choir director is listening and standing reasonably close to me he hasn't detected anything really objectionable.
I will practice, practice, practice! Our first concert is Saturday evening and then The Messiah is on Dec. 3
ly resolve to get going this morning. Need another Fresh start - was doing good until evening when DHs bro/SIL unexpectedly stopped by. Not a bad visit but somehow broke down my resolve.
on the go and more dripping upstairs. Have a great day ladies!
