  • Today, I am thankful that my brother finally decided to get help with his alcohol treatment. He is in medical detox for the next 4 days. Please pray that he gets through this and it's successful and he will be successful at regaining his life with therapy and treatment afterwards. Praise God! Such good news, praying that he will continue.
  • URSULA ~ PRAIZE GOD ... that's great news on this Thanksgiving Day -- yes, we will continue to pray for your BROTHER that he can overcome this addiction with medical intervention, maybe some grief counselling, and help from our Lord as well. Many people find the Alcoholics Anonymous Support Group very helpful for long-term recovery too ...
  • Ursula- definitely a thing to give thanks for! I'm so happy for your brother and your family, and pray that his treatment is successful!
  • I recently had a bone scan to compare with a scan of a year ago, met with my oncologist yetserday and he says the cancer is slowly progressing, He showed me a couple of new sites where it is appearing. He is changing my treatment. I would appreciate prayers from you great prayer warriors.
  • Bargoo-

Prayers sent for you, and for your doctors that they might be able to devise the right treatment. God Bless!
  • Bargoo--You are in my thoughts and prayers. Also prayers going out for your Dr.s so they will have the knowledge and wisdom for the correct treatment for you.
  • Aw dang BARGOO......... X a bazillion....

    but you know...

I never stop praying for you!
  • Who would think a website devoted to weight loss would have such wonderful, caring people. Thank you all for the prayers. I think of you all as friends I have never met. May God bless you all.
  • Ya, dang gone it ... but we will still keep praying for total remission here; and that the new treatments mixed with GOD's perfect love will work wonders for you ... and more ...

Oh, and yes, we consider you a good friend too; and you are a great prayer warrior as well ...
  • Sending prayers for you, Bargoo, and the team that is treating you.
  • God bless you all and keep you and yours well and safe.
  • THANKS for all your prayers for our family & friends; and PRAIZE GOD for hearing & answering all our petitions & requests each & every day ...

UPDATE: just wanted to let you know that our nephew, RAYMOND M. just heard that he was accepted into the RCMP; and he'll start training very soon. Everyone's very excited for him ...

JUSTIN M. (our great-nephew) ~ is still waiting to hear from that big bank in T.O.; will have to send more prayers about that one -- hmm, I may suggest that he call them back again too ...

TOM M. (our BIL) ~ has an aneurysm in his left stomach area; it is about 6.4 cm in size now; but they are waiting to hear if the doctors think he should have surgery or not. They have been hesitant becuz his heart is weak & surgery would be very risky. TOM is a believer and is ready to go, if that is the LORD's will. Meanwhile, we really believe that the slow progression and the fact that it's been over 3 years since his diagnosis is becuz of answered prayers for him. We are still asking for prayers for peace & comfort for both Tom, his wife, Denise & their family ...

    Continued ^prayers^ for you & yours ...
