  • Time for my first weigh in update!
    I weigh myself on Sunday mornings, and this is my first time posting an update. I have to say that I LOVE this site. I definitely need the accountability of writing down my progress (or lack thereof!) and putting it out there for others to see!

    8/15/13: 179.9 lbs
    8/23/13: 177.4 lbs
    9/1/13: 175.2 lbs

    Total inches lost: 3.75

    I'd originally posted that I want to lose 50 lbs. After looking at what would be a healthy weight for my height, I need to revise that goal to 39.9 lbs. Once I reach 140 lbs, I'll decide if I need / want to lose the other 10. I'm 5'8" and everything I've found shows 140 as being a "healthy" weight.

    I have to say your post made me think! I've been so mad at myself for re-gaining most of what I've lost, I never thought about the fact that while I've regained I still have kept almost 30lbs off of the original weight loss. I've been so focused on the negative for so long.

    Thanks for making making me see the positive!

  • I finally found the time to post my loss here from Friday. I lost another pound and feel good. Staying the course is what I repeat to myself. I like the way I'm feeling and the movement that returns as the pounds come off.
