I am surprised your husband hasn't broken the scale on you... at least take out the batteries... I do know how it feels to weigh less after a good couple of days the bad thing is to weight MORE after you thought you had a good couple of days. I hate to say it but I do think I am losing on phase 3... don't know how. but..
Oh he doesn't care if I weigh. I made him take it away for awhile but he doesn't care one way or the other. Why do you hate to say you are losing? My chiro lost on 3 and so far has lost 1 lb in 2 week in maintenance. Originally Posted by 2RIDEROLLERCOAST

You know, since I switched to alternatives I weigh myself everyday too. When I was eating IP packets I knew everything was very carefully balanced and trusted they were going to work well if I followed protocol correctly. But with alternatives I don't have that same level of trust and need the feedback from the scale. I was at a stall for about a week and realized the calorie count from the alternative packets I was using was quite low. I switched about the ones I was using and the weight started going down a bit again.
Pkitty, that is interesting about wheat and ADHD. My adult son is extremely ADHD and is on meds (has been for many years). He also has the same troubles with wheat that I do. He went on a weight loss program at his gym which is grain free and has done well. His is much calmer and I never thought about the wheat connection before.

But I thrive on data, and being able to analyze it, put it in context, look for patterns. You'd think I was an actuary. But if comes from years of close reading of texts -- literature as well as those (d!!m) reports. It's also why I chart what I eat.
stupid bars.

Tonight is dinner out but it's about 50 miles away and we are getting freezing rain right now so I may just get out of it. I'm kinda sad about it because I won't get to see this side of the family at Thanksgiving and I haven't seen them since May but kinda relieved at the same time.
