  • Vix, you look great!!! Happy for your loss
  • Josephine--The binges were an emotional drain. Trying to prevent them were an emotional drain. I realize it will always be something I am working on but I feel like they are not the focus of my entire day now. Relief feels so good.

I just finished WK1D3 of my 10K program. I feel really good.
  • makes sense
    vixjean way to go!

thanks for the info re keep the menus/ new posts each week

glorious day out there for here - my sister lives in Cedar Rapids, IA - her house isn't downtown but close enough for sandbags and her job is very near the hospital that was evacuated. They had so much snow this winter that this is a double weather blow for that area.

healthy choices today - water with a squeeze of lime and peaches
  • Graduation done!

  • Vix - You look fantastic! WTG on hitting 10%!!!

Chellez - Congrats on graduating! It must be great to see the results of all your hard work.

So this morning I woke up really really wanting to do my long run today instead of tomorrow as I'd planned. I kind of debated for a bit since I've had some nagging pain in my left calf lately but it went away fairly easily with some stretching and warming up. DH made me promise to call the second I was in pain and not to try to run through it.

It ended up being a really great run and my leg somehow feels better after running 12K today than it did after running 3K yesterday. I told myself to focus on completing the run without hurting myself and not to worry about my time at all. My best 10K time has been 1:15 and I was thrilled with my 12K time today of 1:32. I even had some woman on a bike slow down beside me and give me a big thumbs up right at the end of my run which was nice.

I didn't go near the scale today since TOM started today. I'll do my official weigh in for the week tomorrow and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll be down 1 lb but I'm not stressing too much about the numbers this week.
  • excellent!
    Congratulations to you, Michelle! Wow!

    Exuberant pictures as well!
  • vix-wonderful job on your 10% loss. I told my hubby about the countdown and you should've seen his eyes, I have never seen his open so wide before. Then I told him how you post your days and he just chuckled.

Chellez-Congrats on your graduation. Beautiful pictures. Wow!!! You did great---doing TBL and school, it's all very hard work but very worth it. Good job!!!
  • Aww Chellez, you both look so cute together and BIG congrats on the graduation!!! It's an awesome feeling
