finally finally FINALLY got to sign the 10-pound board this morning! 189.5, whee!

Congrats Leah....I will look for it the next time I WI. I was there this morning...only 1/2 lb loss, but I will take it. Tomorrow is a big test for me...going out of town for a family dinner....I don't want anyone to know that I have joined MRC. So I hope there will be lots of salad and tomatoes for me to eat. I will pick the beef out of the noodles and only eat a small amount of the beef.

Okay, today for some reason I am STARVING! I've had breakfast, HNS, lunch, HNS, fiber drink and this afternoon my tummy is growling. There's no snacking in between meals. I guess I will do another fiber drink. *sigh*

Leahruthie, congrats on the 10#'s! Today is my first day on the Green menu, so far so good! (even went to a parade and packed my food) I weigh in Tuesday, hopefully down several lbs!!

aaaaand then i had several bites of my boyfriend's dippin' dots ice cream at the state fair tonight. whoops? but i'm right back on the wagon tomorrow, so i'm not worried. plus i walked around for a good 8 hours, so i'm sure those calories are LONG gone.

I have the hardest time too. Turning 40 this January, so I am trying to prepare for turning the big 4 0 and keep telling myself I am already there so when I see 39, it looks wrong!

Where are you going to eat??? I went to Panera the other day with my son & am going to Olive Garden this afternoon with a bunch of friends. Panera wasn't so bad but Olive Garden is going to be rough!

E4FEwife, At my center, they gave me a list of dining out suggestions for popular restaurants. For Olive Garden the suggestions were:
Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad-no croutons, no salad dressing, add tomatoes. Bring your own dressing or ask for oil and vinegar...they suggest Wishbone Salad Spritzer in Caesar or
Grilled Chicken with Sauteed Veggies-it is not on the menu but they will prepare it for you-they offer zucchini, squash and asparagus
I have order the grilled chicken with veggies and it was good...I also ate some of the salad but no dressing!

Last night was the wedding and I had a decent time. Two family members didn't even recognize me (including the bride lol). It took her maid of honor to point out 'hey wasn't that your cousin, Lynn?" And she came up to me at the receiption and said she couldn't believe that she had done that.

I drank a meal replacement shake on the way up so I didn't eat anything. But I think I could have. They had a salad and then mahi/pork tenderloin. It sure looked good. Even one of the waitresses came and asked me if something was wrong and I just explained that I was on a very strict diet. IT was a good evening and I looked the part. I didn't feel like dancing (just not my thing). So all in all had a good time.

I went to WI yesterday morning and lost another 13.75 inches in a month!I haven't done that since the first month. I was down 2 lbs for a total of 47.5. But..after not eating at the wedding I was up a pound this morning..blah. Today I've just felt like I Wanted to pig out but I haven't thus far. I'm just hormonal and don't get it.

You look awesome!!! I didn't recognize you either! LOL....Actually, the fact that the 2 didn't recognize you is a great compliment....you must look a lot different than you did before, more beautiful, healthier and full of energy! Don't pig out, think about all those pounds lost and all those inches, WOW! You did the right thing by drinking your shake and not eating, you went prepared and showed your determination to stick with the program and that takes a lot of will power to not just give in and say, "Well, this is a special occasion..." The stress of the anticipation of the day, along with everything else probably had something to do with it. Did you drink as much water yesterday? Maybe you did but you may not have since you were out and about...I'll bet you will be back down in a day or two!
I was laughing at myself today because I was down over a pound but I am scared to change my ticker thinking it may jinx me. Ever feel that way?
You are a great inspiration to many so keep up the good work and things will fall into place and you'll be looking for an even smaller black dress to wear to the next occasion.
