    Say it ain't so!

Let the devil take the Threadkiller thread as part of the last decade; Let the " 'tens" begin clean - you know, without the sins of the "noughties."

I think that is great idea to have a death by the end of the year.. so this is my contribution .......for now.
  • I'll take a whack at it!

You big weenie! No, you may not join the I am cold club. We haven't made it into the 40's for the last week, so I don't know what you are griping about.

  • Bill, that poem has 759 lines to it, if you are going to quote the entire thing to us line by line it will take care of this thread and the next one (and yes, there will be a next one) as a solo effort of yours.
  • Hmmm - seems like cheating. I think we should continue and try to be Whittier than Bill.
Just don't make me stay home NY's Eve to kill a thread!
  • Mows

    LMAO at Ruth

I declare myself to be more Whittierest because I was first.

I only need the thread to last until I post the line ending in "mows" that, presumably, rhymes with "cows" on the next line.

Then I intend to say, "I mows my lawn to get hay for my cows and sows."

[Yep, that's what I'm gonna say; I'm not the kind of guy who sows and mows his grass, however that goes.]
  • Good Morning
  • No wonder people ignore us....

this thread is starting to look like a cross between PBS and Friday The 13th....

    education and murder....
  • People don't ignore us, sweetie, they only ignore you
