Don't make a habit of this! You know there is no going back, right (I'm sure you do, you've been a dog owner for longer than me!)? I speak from mournful experience. Emma was not allowed on bed or couch for the first 6+ months we had her. When she got scraped up I felt bad and started letting her on the bed. After her scrapes healed... yes, she sleeps on dear BF's pillow now.
Michele, what a fun day! Enjoy the haircut!
YAY for Chico! Animals are so much more resilient than we realize.
Saef, as a scientist, I must say one data point does not make a trend. One "season" doesn't even make a trend. So give it a few weeks and a few data points before you decide this higher weigh-in is a trend. You've been doing a lot of strength training lately. Not only does muscle weight more, when you work your muscles hard they do retain a lot of water. I know you know this, I'm just reminding you bc sometimes we all need reminders. Also, great news about your apt!
I have to work Saturday so am off work today. Hung out w BF last night, drank a margarita

(ok, this really can't go on), slept in and am off to workout hard at the gym today. Emma will get a long wog later, too, but it's raining right now so I'm waiting for that to pass. There is a wedding on a lawn down the street from me tonight. It is a rental house, out-of-towners, so not anyone I know, but I hope the rain clears out for their party. At least they do have a tent set up.
