I did stick the glass microwave tray with the corningware saucer still stuck onto it in the sink and came back to sit down at my computer in the bedroom. A few minutes later I heard this loud CRACK and went running in there and the plate had cooled down and shattered, with pieces flying everywhere except for the part that was still stuck onto the glass thing.
Yes I am happy with my new one, especially since I found exactly what I wanted for $49 at WalMart. I just need/want a small one but I got all the features I wanted and LOL THIS one does have a kitchen timer!
And yes it is a lot nicer than my old one. I bought it really cheap 5 years ago when I had been out of a job for a long time and just got a new job but was on a super cheap budget. But still I thought $49 was hard to beat! My friend and I went out microwave shopping last night so I know I found the best deal compared to what others are selling them for. Most for this price are not nearly as nice as mine. Hope things are going well your way... can't wait to hear Xena's report on her Gazelle!
