  • Bumping so you can see it's not always winter here!
  • I love seeing those pics ... Thanks for the bump Pat!
  • Bumping.

Today (7/2) we have sunrise at 4:28 AM, sunset 11:38 PM for a total of 19h 09m 42s which is − 2m 08s from yesterday. On the downward slope towards December
  • Thanks for the bump! I'd lost this thread
  • I love it! Thanks Pat...wow...I need to get there someday!

I also like to "visit" Hawaii on occasion so if anyone wants to join me, check this out. My co-worker wonders if it ever rains there, but really it does! Remember though, they're 5 hours behind EST

  • Bumping so you can see what we woke up to this morning - and appreciate where you live a little more.
  • Argh!!!! What a frightfully COLD sight!! ...

I love it when you bump this thread up Pat it's fun to watch the changes in your neck of the woods...
  • Ooooh, I love this too so feel free to bump it up anytime!

  • Neat! Thanks for bumping it up! It's beautiful to look at, but I am soooooooo glad to NOT live in snow area. A few years in the mountains out west taught me that I am a Mississippi (warm weather) girl through and through.
  • brrrrr, Pat, that makes me COLD!! The Hawaii webcam looks more my style.
  • ah! I'd forgotten this!

    What Hawaii web cam?
  • I assume she means my favourite webcam...linked a few posts above.

Hope you like it...it's a nice contrast to the Alaskan webcam.

  • AARHGG...Pat that looks SOOO cold and DARK!

Good idea to link the hawai webcam as well. But now I'm envious of the people on that beach...in summer clother!

I bought some fake cherryblossoms with lights in them to lighten up my living room. It's that time of the yaer again.

Thanks for bumping the webcam Pat! I always think it so magical that I can see what 's up all the way in alaska !

    Rabbit
  • Rabbit. We had about 6" of snow over the weekend, and temperatures today are in the 20's (about -5C right now). The worst part is that we're down to only 7.5 hours of daylight - and getting less for the 5.5 weeks. Sigh.
  • Yikes Pat! That looks so AWFULL! We have entered the dark times as well. Today was totally grey and raining. We are entering the months of perpertual clouds...Do you maybe get some sun during the daylight hours?

    Thanks for the pic,
    Rabbit
