Not really, LOL! No she will do a 180 when she ready to recieve him, she'll flirt with him, pester him, "present" her bottom to him, and holding her tail to one side. She may even block him from going past her and demand attention! Somehow they know when their eggs are ready and they don't want it tell their body says so! LOL! My female keeps "presenting" herself to my husband and won't let the male near her! Crazy girl! Hey good luck with your female and hope you have a lot of healthy, adorable little pups!
