Dear Wonderful Wyllenn & fellow exercise buddies… I’ve been MIA on this thread for the last month, but I’ve located my bootstraps & I’m pulling up hard!
This month I’m setting a goal of exercising 30 separate times for a minimum of 5 minutes each. Since just STARTING to exercise is a real sticking point for me, especially lately, I’m just committing to STARTING 30 times. I never exercise for only 5 minutes, it’s just that those first 5 minutes are often what stand between me and a good workout. This way if I get behind they’re less intimidating to try to make up, I just have to exercise a second time some days, and whatever minutes I end up doing I’ll contribute to the list… and to my own health! I’m so sick of not making my goals, and then even when I’m doing relatively well, if something messes me up for a few days I feel like I’ve blown the whole month because I can’t make up enough to reach goal. I feel like the 30x is doable.
I’m off to a slow re-start, but it IS after all a start (and a big improvement to sitting on my double-wide wagon
