Whoa, what a busy day. Thanks for the concern earlier in the day - no problems getting to work.
Sun - I don't know what that dietician is thinking. I'm also insulin resistant and on glucophage. My doctor is the one who recommended SBD. Granted, I haven't been keeping up with it, so I haven't lost anything lately. But, whenever I'm OP, the weight definitely comes off. I do think the glucophage is helping though.
honey - Sorry that your visit to the doc didn't go as well as you hoped. I probably would have dived into a pan of brownies too, but the other chicks are right. Please keep taking care of yourself so you can be healthy for your daughter.
mscrockett - Hang in there. Not sure why people react the way they do. My family has always been kind of the same way. Especially my mother - one minute she's telling me that I need to lose weight and the next she's pushing food at me. Wierd. Anyway, support is what the chickies are here for!!!!
Okay, funny story. On Thursday nights I go to a country dancing class that I just love. The wife teaches the line dances, and her husband will teach us to two-step if we want to learn. So, tonight I went to class and was doing the two step when the guy I was dancing with tried something that I hadn't done before. He spun me one way, stopped and then tried to spin me the opposite direction. The only problem was that I didn't know he was going to spin me in the opposite direction - and my
body sure didn't take the hint either. My momentum just kept me going the wrong way, and BOOM! down on my arse I went. I looked like one of the skaters that wipe out and go sliding across the ice.

You should have seen the look on the guy's face. It was priceless! Of course then, he got "yelled at" by his wife for dropping me on the floor. We recovered nicely though. Once I figure out what he was trying to do, we kept dancing and finally got it right. Oh well, guess it's not a party til someone falls down.
Hope everyone has a peaceful night.
