Amen and thank you... well said. Sorry if I showed my attitude. People just make it hard sometimes not to let our attitudes show. Like Suzanne said... I cannot (in my words here) support someone who is planning on starving themself! Then I am as guilty as they are.... or there blood is on my hands... however is better to put it where it is understood. I just hope this person comes to reason and realizes this is not healthy at all. That is all I can do.

I agree with Aphil. All posts need to be constructive from either side or we'll have to close the thread.

Got - You are right. You absolutely can lose 10 pounds in two weeks, but it won't be fat. It's impossible to lose that much fat in that much time unless you are about 400 pounds. Your body just can't do it. The ladies here were each just trying to get you to listen to them so you don't have to learn the hard way like most of us have. It's heartbreaking to work so hard to lose and then see a regain, so our hearts are in the right places regardless of how we presented it.

As for your answer, Juicy Juice is not acceptable for a fast. Check your local health food store.

Now at least I know I am not losing my mind!!! I mentioned earlier tonight on this board that Got2BThin has asked about fasting before and she denied it. Well... I had to look back because it was driving me nuts. I new I was not losing my mind! Here is the message below: (copy and pasted)

Hello all

I am obviously new to this board. I am 5'6" 17yrs young, and between 185 - 190. I am desparately wanting to get this weight off by Christmas. Before I got pregnant, I was at 135 .. I gained 60 some lbs during that time .. lost it when I came home and gained it all back shortly I would love to get some great advice!! .. also, please be HONEST, how much weight do you think i could lose by fasting for 2 weeks?
