  • After being a lurker for such a long time, I,m going to go mad and ask to join the challenge. I,m in the same fat club as veggie been going 5 weeks and lost 5lb.
    Iwant to go for 8lb I know its not much but I am a slow loser (lack of exercise).
    I might even go very mad and try to figure out how to do the scale thing on the bottom of my message I might have figured it out by the end of the challenge.

  • I'm so motivated I got some diet bacardi breezers they have some new ones, half the sugar all different flavours like apple. The diet orange has less cals though so I got that.

    heres to all of us managing some loss wether its what we state or not, as long as it goes down
  • im not weighing this week, TOM has taken up residence so i know there wont be a loss even though im being exemplary .................but tom being tom means i wont show a loss, and im in no frame of mind to see that, so for this week i will not be posting a gain/loss but rest assured im still sticking to it

    hopefully it will start shifting again

  • im blaming alcohol too......... ive decided this morning to take a week off dieting, give my body a wee break, if i gain .......i gain if not then all to the good
    sometimes i think when hitting a lull a week off kind of kick starts it again.......well heres hoping
  • I've not had a good start - I've had 2 major 'blips' this week and put 1 lb on, could have been worse though. It just means i've got to work harder to meet the challenge.

    Well done to those of you who managed to lose weight this week.

  • a new day and a new train of thought............ive abandoned my week off idea and got right back on track today, me being me would have let 1 week slip into 2 then 3 etc etc.................a situation i cant allow to happen, so as much as im whingeing and moaning im back on track as of today
    i got something to work towards as well ive been ivited to a 21st birthday party in july.............and i want to be able to wear something lovely and summery and not look like a summer eskimo
  • I'll have another summer as an eskimo I think. Have already had days with the rest of the world in shorts and t shirt and me in my jacket.
  • i know where your coming from veggie...........although this year ive abandoned the jacket for a cardigan.......maybe by 2010 ill work myself down to wearing a t-shirt .....the shorts will wait until the year dot im afraid...........NO CHANCE youd get me into a pair
