  • Kissyjoy, your job sounds really fascinating and fun. I bet you never get bored!

hoosierjem, come on, you can stick with this. One of my favorite lunches is wrapping some lowfat cheese and turkey (or ham) around celery sticks. I also like hummus with red peppers and cucumber wedges for dipping. Do you like Mexican? Try tossing some black beans (drained) with some salsa - yum! Add some beans to your salad to make it more filling, too. I love salads and have them often, especially Ceaser salads with chicken, salmon or shrimp. I hope some of these suggestions help. Once you graduate to Phase 2, you'll find this way of eating a lot easier to live with. Don't forget to check out the recipe forum, there's a ton of fantastic recipes there for you!

Today was a glorious Spring day, warm and sunny. The little ones and I were outside most of the day, and we even spread out a blanket and had a picnic. My daffodils and primroses are blooming, and I noticed a lot of my perrenials poking through the ground already. It still gives me a thrill to see something I've planted coming back year after year. Bamie, your rain is headed our way for the weekend, so I'm glad we had today! Haas anyone heard form Laurie? I wonder where her DH took her for her "mystery" birthday trip. He sounds like a really special guy, doesn't he? Well, I'm going to go try to finish my book tonight, I'm reading the 3 Sisters Trilogy by Nora Roberts, and I can't wait to get to the 2nd book, it's really good. Good night, everybody.
