Well, you can see that we all have done our time caretaking and being taken advantage of. I know people at work who would NEVER give a client money out of their own pocket or work thru lunch or take a day to help someone else. They will never get fibro, they will never stress themselves out and they will probably live to be 110. BUT I DON'T LIKE THEM!!! My cousin called today and is so appreciative of what I have done for her mother that she wanted me to drive down tomorrow so she could treat me to dinner, drinks whatever I wanted. Made an excuse. It is so hard to explain to people that what you need when you are this far over the edge is just silence, peace and quiet. Good food and some healthy exercise. Have another friend who wants to get together and watch football, eat pizza, drink beer. Ouch. The thought sends shivers down my spine. I hate to feel this way. I will get out of this pit of doom, but stress is just like the weather. You can see it coming but you can't stop it.
Anagram...no storm for us. Amazing. And schools were closed today.

). I keep the cans of soup/spaghetti etc. each of them like in stock and plenty of peanutbutter. I also keep several bottles of apple juice and make sure I always have at least one gallon of milk in the fridg. I never know when I'm going to have one or more of them. It hasn't been as bad lately since I've been off the gold shots. I told my kids that I just wasn't able to baby sit like I used to and they have backed off some. But as far as the food thing goes, I just let them have what ever they want when they are here. They stay up late and watch movies or TV. I'm not much of an enforcer. That's what their parents are for! I'm a grandparent... I get to spoil!
If they don't like it they can keep them at home. My daughter started telling me to not let her little one have apple juice while she was here on Friday afternoon once or twice a month because it would decay her teeth. Jenna LOVES her apple juice!!! She said make her drink water.
