  • Good morning chicks!

Ruth I am glad you got your computer fixed! Technical stuff is always frustrating for me!

Ok. My beach bag is packed and sitting by my weekend bag. I get off work at noon today and we will put perishable food in camper and head out. This will be our first trip with our camper. We had reservation s memorial day weekend but the camper broke down and we didn't get to go. I am looking forward to a relaxing weekend. I hope you all have a great weekend!
  • Whew! A good night's sleep happy dogs, a sunny day and a working PC! What more could a girl want?

Finally got my flower boxes planted yesterday after a rushed trip to the Feed Store for some begonias. While fixing my PC problem, Great Neighbour Moel mentioned he "intended to get at fixing" my raised bed but I won't hold my breath. In the meantime. I do have herbs in planters outside on the back deck and will plant some bush beans into a sunny flowerbox. They will be yellow beans since they aren't usually available at the farm stands around here and are Bruce's favourite.

Today I have to attend a seniors' community luncheon in Bruce's stead since he is off with his friend Carl the Baker doing deliveries for the day. Apparently this is an annual tradition for June, just as is the mid-July air show in Rochester with his sons. I think I'd rather be there in the truck rather than at the Seniors starch and sugar luncheon, listening to everyone's health woes.

Sunday is an after Church lunch and my "girls" have something planned for Sunday afternoon. I'm drowning in food and struggling to not regain the measly two pounds I've lost! So - another foodie weekend begins. We go to a family birthday party tomorrow and have a luncheon (dinner around here)

Hope everyone is doing well. And thanks for the "crack slaw" reminder. I may do that for dinner with rice or noodles for Bruce tonight.

Have a lovely start to the weekend.
  • Good morning!

ohio - hope you have a nice weekend away!
Ruth - I have two empty planters sitting on my front porch, I really need to do something about that. You inspired me to get some flowers on the way home today. My mom's biggest complaint as she got older was how much everyone complained about their aches and pains.

I have one more hiit to do today, then it's 2 days off exercise and boy do I need it. I'm sore, I'm tired. But it really appears to be working. Who knew exercising and eating right would cause you to lose weight and fat - lol The hot tub is set up and ready to go! I'm looking forward to getting in there this evening when I'm done for the day!
  • Good morning
I am off this morning to get my mammo and have a very busy weekend scheduled, the air show is this weekend at the base and the lake is having their 50th year celebration and I still need to fit painting the railings in.

Ruth glad you were able to fix your computer issues, was thinking of you yesterday and then saw you had posted.

Jekel my hormones are a bit out of wack too

    Ohio enjoy your trip

Amy I did outdoor walk again this morning since it has been so nice

Beth glad you are getting nice days

Debbie loved your pictures of your projects on FB

Isa glad your leg is feeling better.

    Have a great day everyone
  • Hey chicks! Last day of classes for the kids today; now we just have state exams next week. Amazing how the school year always flies by!

Found a recipe for cauliflower "fried rice" that might be on the menu tonight. That and some stir fry will be tasty.

    Amy, who knew indeed!?! lol

    Happy Friday evening everyone.
