The fish died today and the tank is all cleaned up and packed away! The dog ahd a bad day today too so we are lookng at putting her down again..poor thing..wish she would just pass in her sleep!

Our mattress came today and there is a flaw in the box spring so they had to order a new one, gotta wait another week before I can get things put back!

Candice, sorry you are having such a bad time. Hope things turn around for you soon. If you are saving 30 points in a week, are you sure you are eating enough to be healthy. You should have at least 1200 calories. If you are not, you could start losing your hair and have othe problems going on. Losing weight may be important, but maintaining your health is more important.

Well tomorrow, I am off to Red Deer to get the Holter Moniter on for 24 hours. Going to the hospital at 9:30 for it, so will be leaving here at 6:00 a.m.; After that, I am going to see the Dr., and hopefully will get into the chiro. Then I am going to visit a couple of friends and then meeting my cousin and her husband and my husband and I will go out for dinner. Then we will stay with them Friday night and I will go to the hospital on Saturday to get the monitor off. Then, I am going to the Farmer's market and then home. By that time I shall be in need of rest. On Sunday morning, my son is coming over before he heads to work in Ft. McMurray and then my cousin and her hubby are coming to stay at our house on Sunday night. Then on Monday, it is back to Red Deer, once more. WISH ME LUCK BECAUSE I THINK I AM GOING TO NEED IT. I AM TIRED JUST THINKING ABOUT ALL THIS.

I've figured out what's wrong with my ankle ... unfortunately. The last Dr. (quack) I went to should have picked up on all the symptoms and figured this out but I guess he was too busy trying to keep to his schedule!!! He didn't even have me stand up!!! Just took a quick look at a year old Xray and another quick look at my ankle and said it was Osteoarthritis. He didn't even do a new Xray for comparison! Some Doctor! It's not osteo at all! I may have osteo in the TOP of my foot but what's going on in the ankle is not osteo... it's rheumatoid. You've seen people who have fingers that have drawn to the side ... their hands look deformed? Well the toes on the outside of my foot have been burning like crazy. When I stand at the sink or stand and iron it almost feels like they are doubled under my foot and I'm standing on them. I just today figured out what was going on. They are drawing. It is my right foot and the toes are drawing to the left pulling everything with them and they are putting a tremendous strain on the bones on the right side on my foot and on my ankle. And they are drawing at a really fast pace, too. This is very scary!

What about some homeopathic treatments like acupuncture or I can't think of the name of it where you have points on your foot that they massage for certain areas-Hope you feel better soon. Candice-this too will pass!!!It's hard to lose animals-they become part of your life/ Went for a walk with Auntie after the chiro but should have come home to rest because back hurts. But I have been good up to now. I hjave the opening for a really nice closet to be finished next week -and I have a nice drawer under the stove, And stairway to be worked on today. Adorable Meme!-MA didn't lose power-I hate when that happens-all you can do is go to bed. We lose it in the winter when it's worse because you freeze. Still having fun getting ready to camp-bought wine glasses at the dollar store-broke 2-then I came home and found 6 in the cupboard. Went to TOPS-only up a quarter of a pound-it's the walking that saves me. I have to be good this week. Gonna do the meeting next Friday because the leader is out. More construction going on-guy is coming today to put a door in the hall downstairs.We have 2 projects going at the same time-someday we will have to do a lot of painting -and polyeurethaning-but not today!!!6 more days til I'm 65. We are going to pick out my present tomorrow. I'm going to get another cross with athicker chain to replace the one I lost-just not as fancy!!Then maybe the other one will turn up. Meme-What a cute little girl! Sometimes I long to have small ones around again. The two G/children I have are pretty much grown.
Mima, I hate losing thing too. I went walking yesterday and looked down and found that I lost a little gold ring with a cameo. I just said to myself that the lady who gave it to me dropped down from heaven and took it back. After walking two miles I feel there is little chance of finding it. We searched the house but no luck. My hands swell when I walk so I wasn't concerned that it would come off. But I guess I will just have to be more careful.
I lost 1 1/4 this week and believe me I don't know how.

Had to put the dog in the basement shower last night to get the pee off of her skin....for two days she layed in it..I couldn't get her up and now today she is fine...but it is too much work and DH says it is time so we will see.......(I'm just not physically able to be lifting her).

Watered the flowers today so hot and humid and dry everything was shriveling up!

Ally I have a little battery powerd TV for when the power goes off!
