I have been battling temptation this week. I see that it is the heat and me not wanting to cook. I did this the other week when there was a heat surge. So last night I had a smoothie which gave me some sweetness from the fruit, skim milk provided a creaminess and the protein powder made me full. It was good and I will replay this tonight after my workout.
Exhale, at first I thought my back was just weak, but my daily tote bag was heavy and I carried my friends laptop home to set up. I probably just aggravated it. I didn't exercise yesterday, left my tote bag at home today and it feels better at the moment. I think I downloaded that episode form Cut the Fat, but I haven't listened to it yet.
Wow, great minds think a like. I had a smoothie for dinner last nite and put some flax seed meal in it and it was very good, filling and hit the spot on a hot evening. Bagels have been off my radar for a while as well as most breads. The bread itself isn't a bad thing, but I have to slather stuff on it which takes it to a whole other level which throws my diet off track so I stay away.
I ordered a new
ninja 1100 blender and I can not wait to get it. I have the blue pod version which works great, but I wanted the traditional form. This thing pulverizes frozen fruit and I expect the same from the new blender especially with more power. In the commercials they add veggies to the smoothie and I so want to do that. That would certainly add to my veggie count. My old pod blender is going to my auntie who burned her's out and never replaced it.
Gabi, Do you ever give thought to Jill's other kickbutt workouts like No More Trouble Zones and Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism? I think they would surely take your workout to another level.
Eskie, was that a drive by? LOL...
McMurphy, I hope all is well.
