  • Congratulations to all the winners! We have done so great and I am proud to be on the blue team. I just wanted to quickly say hello to everyone. Tomorrow is my weigh-in and I hope to have a good loss so I can contribute to us winning this week's challenge.

Keep up the good work everyone!
  • Happy Friday Bluesers !

Well, it's been a roller coaster of a week for me but it looks like things have finally been settled and we can get a course of action in place. Hubby has been offered a position at a job and he's been talking to them for awhile to work out the details. Today he officially took the job, which is a huge step for him in his career. It's a great opportunity for us but it also means we'll be moving from the West Coast to the East Coast. For awhile it looked like I might have to stay behind and look after all the details on the West Coast end but now he'll be here with me to wrap everything up. We have 2 1/2 months to get everything done here which gives us plenty of time. I'm really excited about the move but scared too as I've always lived in this area so don't really know what to expect. Trying to look at it all in a positive light.... it's a brand new adventure.

Have a great weekend Team !

  • wow Leslie, that sounds like a big move! I'm glad you have some time to get everything done.
still busy like crazy, having to read a bunch and watch training DVD's every night when I get home, trying to learn everything I can about this resturant. I'm physically tired, but mentally exhausted!
Well, I hope everyone has a great weigh in tomorrow! Mine should be good
  • Hi all, apologies for my disappearing act of the last couple of weeks.

Work is hectic coming up to End of Financial Year, sooo much to get done before June 30!

I've missed too many posts to do proper personals, but to those who have managed to stay on plany Congratulations , to those who are struggling with health, either their own or a loved ones My thoughts and best wishes are with you . For those studying, or just finished studying WAY TO GO, you rock! For those (like me) struggling with motivation and head wars, you can break the cycle and make goal. It may take a longer path, but you will WIN . For those who are moving across a country, WOW!!!

I've posted a small gain of .6 this week due to TOM. I'm so glad it was less than a pound, shows me i was doing better with my plan than my head was yelling at me .

Best of luck with weigh in everyone

    Tania
  • Hi everyone,
Sorry I haven't been around to do personals. It seems I'm always busy doing something, then I get to far behind to catch up.

I've been struggling this week with food and have had a couple not so good meals. On Thursday night I felt bad so I worked til 9:30 pm but when I got home I jumped on the treadmill and did 2 separate workouts. Yesterday I had a tv day (with one of the bad meals) so jumped on again at 9:30 pm and did 30 min of intense incline 9-11% then got on the elliptical for 10. Today I did 3.09 miles but just finished a peanut butter sandwich.....not sure if ive had enough water this week either.

Well here's hoping for a loss tomorrow, I don't know why I get like this. I as hoping tomb real back into the 180's for tomorrow but now with my crazy sabotage well have to wait and see.....fingers crossed.

I'm doing a walk for JDRF tomorrow and it is supposed to rain here all ay and the wind is howling like crazy out there right now. Hope it dies down for the walk.

Leslie- that will be a very exciting move for you glad you both get time to finish up the details befor you go.

Everyone - I'm sorry for no personals I really need to get better at it again.

I hope anyone with struggles get over the hump, everyone that is over worked get some time to rest and relax, everyone who is on plan gets to stay that way.

    Good luck with WI
  • Just a flying visit to say hello! Tomorrow I hand in my last two papers to university, so I'm busy finishing them off today, but the end is soooooo close now, I can't wait!

On a good note weigh in wise, I FINALLY get to move my ticker down today, so have relost the gain from my few weeks off track, yay!

Will have more time on my hands for the next couple of weeks to check in more

    Enjoy your sundays everyone
  • Hello Blue Team. Sounds like everyone is doing as well as they can.

Well, this week has certainly been a "treat" week for me. Instead of just one day it was every second day. I had junk around from DH's birthday party and of course it was a big sigh of relief to have him back home safe and sound. I eat when I'm stressed, nervous, frightened, sad, happy, glad, hahahaha. You get it, right? Not a real reason to eat but an excuse. I had most of a large bag of BBQ chips left lying around but this morning I threw them out to the crows who, I noticed, was enjoying them as much as I would have. They would pick up a chip and then another and another until they had a pile of them in their beak. Then they'd fly off to the wood pile or the field to eat them. I may be responsible for a couple of overweight crows!

Leslie, wow, what a huge move for both your DH and you. At least you'll have him around to help pack. I guess you'll be moving into a new job as well.

Kelly, what is it you have to do in your new job? You sound really happy about the job.

Well, let's hope for a good all round weigh in this week regardless of our indiscretions of this past week.
  • Just a quickie. Not much of a loss this week, but enough to keep me in it. My back is getting better but it's slow and frustrating.

[B]leslieb/B]wow, what a big adventure coming up!! Where on the east coast?
  • Leslie - I too was wondering where east? In '09 I relocated from Az to Tx. Man at my age what an undertaking. My company was closing down the plant I worked in and gave me a job in tx but didn't cover the move. I had lived in our house for 20 years. What a massive job it was, but now our new home is wonderful and other than the traffic commuting to work it has been a wonderful experience. Hope yours goes as well.
