One of the joys of living in the country is coming home to a faint whiff of skunk. Enough is enough, though.

Thanks girls. The reason we were making such a fuss is that she is the last tangible link with our daughter and not only that; she is a big soppy lump of love. Moving on... a pound off for me this week.

Good Morning Ladies or what left of it

Got up late so it going to be a easy day, except for cleaning out my Christmas Ornaments,from the 3 storage boxes that I don't use anymore. My DD took what she wanted so the rest is going to find its way to the garbage bags. Than I can use the storage bins for other important stuff I want to keep and need.

Otherwise nothing going on over the weekend as my movie buddy is in California for the week.

Got on the sale today and I MAINTAINED,so here's to next week

Have to start my dinner have a great day

we're home from the cruise. We had a wonderful time, but are very tired, as you might imagine.

I won't get near a scale I promise you. But for 5 of the 7 days we were gone, I was in the ship's gym working out. That was good.

We saw Halifax, Saint John, Portland (Maine), Boston and NYC, including Ground Zero, which was quite emotional for many. Mostly, I felt queasy being where all that horror happened.

I am home but I can't find my cat..He usually stays fine if we leave a few days, but he used to have the dog to hang out with. I should have boarded him.

I had a good conference but being out of town by myself is hard.

We won £93 on the lottery last night, so we were going to go away for the day this morning, but it is chucking it down with rain so we put it off until next week.
Instead we have tidied up, hoovered and polished right through the house and I can say with confidence, that NOBODY will call now we are as smart as a tack. As soon as the carpets need hoovering and the rooms look a bit untidy someone, we don't know very well will call out of the blue. Mark my words.

Cat came home about 2 am !!

I am cleaning & organizing today. My paperwork seems to always be everywhere.. Does anyone have an attractive way to keep files ??

Nancy, glad to hear the cat came home. And, I absolutely hear you about being out of town alone. That was hard for a long time.

Now, an attractive way to store files? Get yourself a very nice bin for recycling paper

I have been organizing today and beginning to pull together things to give my step daughter when she is here in Nov. I realized, even though I am not ready to go through some things,that there are many items I am ready to give them.
Just found 2 cookbooks that were her moms..Things like that.

Moved my file cabinet to my bedroom and covered it with a throw..then tv is on it.. I like having it in there..

Got lots done today ..

Still gaining..For awhile I was just maintaining and not worrying about my eating but clearly that is not working right now. I was doing something a while ago that was really working and I can't remember what it was..Maybe 200 calorie minimeals ...I may look back in my posts to see if i can find what it was..
