  • Still here and trucking along. Have successfully transitioned to Cad and ready to cut down the calories starting tomorrow. Hopefully this will take care of the munchies.
  • Well today I am cutting my calories down to the bypass amounts. 500 calories, 2 meals a day. So will see if I can get this off quicker.
    well get my weight as I pretty sure it went up changing over to CAD.
    OK weighed and only put 1 pound back on 178.6 but I pretty much expected it. I really thought it would be more so was pleased to see only the pound.

    cm beef and 1 egg 200 cal
    cm ham and cheese stick 150 cal
    rm taco bell 2 chalupas 375 ea cherry strusal and a couple cookies
  • weighed myself this morning and lost the 1lb I gained. Yesterday my Rm was a binge feast as I was hungry. For some reason my hunger is high. Think cause of all the stress from this snow storm.

    just read a lot about the owl in the hcg forum 600-700 calories a day not bad better the 500. maybe can break it up in to my 3 meals of course having the fruit and grain at the Rm
  • Today I am up on the scale, but I ate a lot of salty processed stuff yesterday. My bad. Also my rm has been a garbage feast. Today need to start making some new food habits. I am still having to use what food is on hand as I just don't have to much money to by food. So have to do the best with what I have.

    I need to plan a daily menu and have a list of items that I can change things out so will work on that.

    Good things that have been happening in this second week

    I have learned a lot about my eating patterns and know my weakest times of day.

    I have been sleeping through the night which I haven't done in a long time.

    I didn't get upset when the scale went up this morning, that is normally when I would through the diet or plan out the window.

    So I am on to something.

  • Ok been reading about the Juddd diet or alternate day diet 500 cals every other day and normal eating on the other days no calorie restriction. Wow so many different plans. Well no mater how I do my calories I am going to stay with the CAD protocol 2 Cms and 1 Rm.
    really don't know if I can do a 500 calorie day my hunger has a mind of its own. now lower one day and up the next does sound appealing. So today well try to have a DD. This may help in controlling those binging Rms I have been having.

    Tomorrow starts week 3 and looks like am going no where fast. lol but trying out different things each week till I feel its for me then that's how it well be.

    I know calorie counting works and Cad works. I have lost both ways but doing them separately.

    I thought about using Hcg but hate taking any kind of drug.

    I'm going to try making those kale chips would work for a Cm and great for those munchies moments lol

    Ok now I am questioning staying on cad. still have restrictions and only allowed to eat meals and no snacking. yea I am looking for that miracle diet that will fit my needs and wants. So far calorie counting is the one to go for.
  • Today is the start of week #3 weight 178 on the nose.

    I am embarking on the Juddd diet or alternate day diet this week. I will have down days (500 calories) every other day. and up days (1700 calories) the other days. Anyone interest in this just google Juddd and you can get all the info about it.

    yesterday was an UD day for me 1600 calories, so today is a DD 500 calories. This may be a challenge but after today then I can eat what ever I want tomorrow. Hopefully the plain is to keep it around 1600 - 1700 calories which is a lot of food.

  • Well I did my DD yesterday and was surprised to not be hungry all day. Ate 495 calories. Today is my UD so will aim for 1500 -1700 calories. Now according to the info on the web site I dont have to keep track of calories but I think for now I will.

    Got on the scale this morning and was at 175.4 got rid of a lot of water yesterday lived in the bathroom lol. But It feel good not to feel totally bloated.

    I will continue to weigh daily and average my weekly since the body can be funny with the scale, and I really don't want to get in the mind set that if it doesn't go down then I'm doing something wrong.

    I have a very similar weight-loss goal as you do! I started at 175 lbs and I want to get down to 125 lbs in 1 yr. I try to eat at least 1200 but not more than 1500 calories per day and I am somewhat physically active. I have averaged just over 1200 calories per day for the last month.

    If I were you I would work on eating a tighter range of calories each day so you don't mess with your metabolism. I have upped my fiber consumption to at least 25 grams per day so that (and water) helps me feel full throughout the day so I don't succumb to brownie attacks and the like. I've been doing the Belly Fat Cure for the last month and feeling really great on it - I think you need to pick one way of eating and stick with it for a few weeks before making a final evaluation.

    thank you for the advice. Basically I am eating roughly the same calorie but alternating the days. Plus trying different things weekly to see if I can stick with them. If I cant live with it for a week then I am not going to make it for the long run.
  • Yesterday went pretty good stayed within my calories, today is a DD for me lower calorie 500. It will be mostly egg whites and a slice of bread.

  • Yesterdays DD calories ended at 635. No biggie I will just eat a little less today on my UD . Going out to lunch but should be no problem as I pretty much know what they have.
    Well wait and weigh next week. I never liked jumping on the scale daily and think the weekly weigh in is much better.
    Cant wait till warmer weather. With all the gloomy out there just really don't want to do to much of anything.
  • Yesterday my UD was more up then I wanted it to be but life goes on and so do I lol.
    I am actually glad that today is a down day to get rid of the bloaty feeling.
    One thing I notice I get full quicker. Normally Its way after the meal is over that It would register that I was full and by the time it kicked in I was stuffed, over stuffed.
    At the buffet yesterday sure I ate to much, but I got full quickly and nothing looked good. If fact I probably could have waited later to eat. We ate at 1:30pm and It stayed with me till around 9 and then ate a little before bed.

    Plus I am sleeping like there is no tomorrow and little aches and pains are going away. So something is right. Im an really glad I am on the path of going down and not up

    Just checked the calender and there are 21 1/2 weeks till I go on vacation. It would really be nice to be able to get back into some of my old clothes. Its tough not being able to wear those size 6's I packed away.
  • Weighed today 176. still kinda having trouble with finding whats for me. But I did maintain a loss. So not a total waste of time.

    Starting week 4 and just will keep an eye on calories again. My first diet was a 1000 calorie diet when I was in 3rd grade. long long time ago. lol

    Well new week, and still going and have not chucked the whole thing out the window is a plus. Can not wait for warmer weather too.
