Welcome Bree-- I don't know if I can be much help personally but maybe I can help lead you to someone who can. In Leviticus 19:15 The Lord says "Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the Lord". That at first seems to me we shouldn't, however, this law was for the law to be administered by the Levites along with all the laws in the time of Moses. This law was to keep them from the pagan worship of honoring the dead. Through Jesus Christ we no longer live by those laws.
Personally, I do not have any tattos, however my wife has one on her ankle and another one hidden only for me

to see! I am totally against the one on her ankle, and she knows it, she also wishes that she did not have it now, or at least the one she has. My feeling is that if
EVERY DAY clothing doesn't cover it you probably shouldn't get one there. In other words there may come times when you wish it wasn't visible and times it doesn't matter. My wife has found this out.
As far as what God thinks, I could only
GUESS that it probably is no big deal if it doesn't dishonor HIM. There may be more help for you from the experts on the Christians Online Christian Community Web Site. I have had good success from people by posting my question on the Forumn section, although not ALL the advice is beneficial at times you can sort it out.
Well got a big day of softball and pastor party for my ex-BIL-- have a fun day ladies and
BE GOOD TO YOURSELVES! Gary
