  • Ha! Funny how that wine thing works.

Anyway, good morning, yet ANOTHER night without a binge! That's three in a row, something I haven't done in probably a year or two. I TOTALLY attribute it to suddenly having this forum in the back of my mind. What a great support, seriously.

So, another pound of water weight, excellent! That's the boost I need to get going and really work on the rolls of actual FAT!

It's amazing, too, how instantly better and "lighter" I feel.

Soon I'm gonna take the dog for a nice long walk.
  • The only thing I binge on when drinking wine is the wine itself. I don't ever feel compelled to eat while drinking. But I can easily consume an entire bottle with no ill effects. That is NOT the best use of my daily calorie allotment.
  • i'm new here, but i'm starting to feel at home already! i definitely don't feel ike a "featherweight" these days. today is the fourth day of trying to turn things around. i've been eating well and i haven't had any wine or alcohol. wine is a big one for me; i usually drink a bottle a day! c'est la vie, i said, but that's a lot of calories so i've cut it out. it was a lot easier than i thought.

i've gotten a lot of great tips from reading these forums- i look forward to being in this community! thanks, everyone!
  • That walk soounds great Mudpie!
I should try to do the same (only no beach where I'm from). You guys give me such inspiration!
  • Well, after the euphoria of the first three days of being here and being good, I slipped today. here are my various excuses:

    1. It's the weekend, and everyone is around and I am off schedule.

    2. It's the weekend before Christmas.

    3. I'm having a vodka tonic, and I'm loose.

    4. I'm HUNGRY!

    help me.......
  • Just popping in to wish you all a Merry Christmas. My Christmas break officially starts to day and in a couple of hours I'm off in my car to spend Christmas with the family - really can't wait. Back on Saturday and praying that I limit the damage between now and then! Have a good one everybody.

  • In my opinion, it's when I STOP feeling «ridiculously vain» that the pounds creep up on me ... I think you are doing «ridiculously» well, keep up the great work...
