  • Yesterday I listened to 2 full Seether cds while I worked out. Most of the time I listen to the radio and it's a mix of all kinds of top 40 songs. My ipod is loaded with all kinds of different things too for when I run outside.
  • i really like this site called pandora - you can search for an artist and it will give you a playlist with other like-sounding artists. it also works for songs or genres. i just put it on through my computer speakers while i work out at home!
  • Here is my current list (just posted it someplace else, heh):

Starts slow, works up to run speed, cools off to walking speed (it's almost exactly 1 hour long):

    Kanye West – Stronger

Mika – Big Girl (You Are Beautiful)

Wreckx-n-Effect – Rump Shaker – (ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM)

Ok Go – Here It Goes Again (if those guys can dance on the treadmills, I can at the very least walk on them briskly)

M.C. Luscious – Boom I Got Your Boyfriend

Lacuna Coil – Closer (has kind of a slow beginning, but gets good)

  • Quote: I've been listening to the Top Gear Anthems CD while working out. This probably means nothing to anyone but Tiggy, being another UK member, but it's a collection of songs from a popular TV show over here. Top Gear is a car program so they are "driving" songs.
I Love Top Gear! I'm from the U.S. so I have to watch it online.

Anyway, I listen to anything that gets me swinging my hips. Everything from Christina Aguilera to Rob Zombie. Some of my favorites are:

Aerowsmith - Dude Looks Like a Lady
    Beck
    Billy Idol
    Christina Aguilera
    Daft Punk
Elvis Presley & Paul Oakenfold - Rubberneckin'
    The Faint
    Fatboy Slim
    Prodigy
    Real McCoy
    Amy Winehouse - Rehab
    Rihanna
    M.I.A.
    Rob Zombie
    and
    Shakira

Sometimes I through in some swing like the Cherry Poppin' Daddies
  • Quote: Um, I listen to heavy, hard rock. Probably not anything anyone here listens to, but helps with the energy.
I'm with you! I really like to listen to the deftones, nine inch nails, corrosion of conformity, marilyn manson and anything loud and hyper. Gets me going. Damn i did 7 miles on the bike yesterday out of no where. Love that music
  • ....yeah -- i agree, people are basically getting sick of the

    same old rock/hip-hop/r&b bullsh*t.....

and there is just this big upsurge from a new style

coming out of Europe -- best place i've found it so
