Juliann,

Where did you get your Knudson's juice and did you tell your COD that you were using it? I'm just curious. I'm in my 3rd week and haven't been asked to buy the TO juice yet, but I know that it is coming soon. I didn't care for the taste/smell of the TO juice during the first two days and I've already decided that I'm not going to buy their juice again. I have funny taste buds I guess. I've also had a hard time using the powder lites. I can do a few of the bars without too much problem, but not the powder ones.

I'm very close to your current weight loss and goals. I'm currently 177 and want to get to 135 or 140. I'm not sure if 135 is reasonable or if I would be able to maintain there. I got down to 125 about 8 years ago on WW, but it was too low for me. My target date is January 8th.

Default WE can do it!!

Hi Patty!

I bought the Knudsen's Morning Blend Juice at Whole Foods, it was around $3.50 - compared to the LA's TO juice @ $25!! It tastes about the same.
I didn't tell them I did the Knudsen's - I see a different counselor almost every time I'm there so I didn't even bring up the subject. If they ask, I'll say a friend gave me a couple of bottles that she didn't use...

I haven't tried the powder lites, just the bars. Try the nuking the choc. crunch lt bar...it's kinda like a warm brownie....only not so pretty.

I like the program so far.....14 pounds in a little over 4 weeks! My goal date is Jan 24th, I'm excited to be close to goal before I turn 41 on Dec. 26th!

I'm not sure about 135 either....I'm an easy size 10 at 140, a whole lot better than my starting to get lose 16's!!

Good Luck!!
WE can do it!!

--- I just finished TO with their juice and it had fiber in it -- I forget how much, (threw bottle out at work) -- but it did have it

Juliann,

I think I'm just going to not do the TO, officially, but do the Knudson juice on my own. Have you been amazed at how easy this has been. I have had only one craving since I started 3 weeks ago and that was for pretzels - yes, I did give in, but only for a few. I can't believe I'm eating so well and drinking more water than I ever have. I am doing the bars, but not the powder lites. I told my COD that I would only do one bar a day and they were okay with that. I just works out best for me. I'll try your microwave suggestion. I just got a box of peanut butter but haven't tried it yet. I tend to crave dry peanut butter sandwiches when I'm eating light/healthy.

We'll have to keep up with each other's progress this fall and celebrate this January!!! I'm determined to do this right.

Hi Patty!

I'm looking forward to our big CELEBRATION in January!! I am so gung-ho - something finally clicked!!

I just got back from riding my bike to the COD....it's 8 miles round trip with some really good hills. The counselors are all amazed that I do it at least 2 times a week.

I got measured today for the first time since I joined.
3 inches off bust, 3 inches off waist, 3 inches off hips and 1/2 off thighs - Nine and 1/2 inches!! Woo Hoo!!

Let's keep up with each others progress! Just curious....where do you live? I'm in Rochester Michigan (a suburb north of Detroit.)

Juliann,

I'm also amazed you ride your bike so far. I have been walking - I have a 30 minute route that I do pretty consistently. If I try to make it any longer, I'll not do it. I teach school and we're starting in about a week, so 30 min. is about all I can get.

I live in a town in central Texas - San Angelo. It's hot and dry here.

Lea Ann,

We moved here in '92 and we do like it. We both went to Texas Tech. I noticed you're in the Panhandle. Anywhere near Lubbock? Have you been back here lately? They've added quite a bit of things to ASU. It's a nice school.

We lived in Big Lake from 92-95 then moved to Arizona for 10 years then moved to Canyon a year ago. Does Mejor que Nada still have the best fajitas? We LOVE China Garden, too. We still get some alumni stuff--we laughed because I babysat for the LeGrands (semi-new faciltiy on campus) all through college and made better $$ than all my friends with "real" jobs--lol. They were always HUGE contributors to the school (wife #1 at the time!) We haven't been back in about 4-5 years but really want to soon now that we are back in the state. My 9 yr old already says she's going to Tech--she could certainly make worse choices--haha. Have a great day.

Hi Lea Ann,

We actually don't ever go to Mejor - my fav is Franco's. I probably won't be able to go there anytime soon. Did you ever go there when you were here? We do like China Garden. What part of Arizona did you live in. We traveled to Flagstaff a few years ago and I thought it was really nice. I loved the drive down to Sadona (?sp).

How long have you been doing LAWL? I'm starting week 4. I've lost 11 pounds, but only 1 pound last week - a little disappointing.

I noticed you started inservice. What do you do? I teach at that school that is next to ASU. Do you remember it? We don't begin inservice until next Tuesday and school on the 23rd. That's really late for us but I've enjoyed the extra time.

Hi Patty,
I am bound and determined to get this off!! January! January! January!
Keep up the 30 minute walks - that's great!! It takes me about 30 minutes each way on my ride to the COD....with traffic lights, but it goes really quickly.

11 pounds in 4 weeks is amazing! That's 44 sticks of butter! Don't be disappointed.

We'll I'm off....biking to my WI, then to work. I own a Paint it Yourself Pottery Studio and a clay studio (with pottery wheels etc...)

Have a GREAT day!!

Wink Now ya tell me! LOL

Hello all! I'm just starting my 3rd week on Lawl today. I came home from my weigh in toting 6 bottles of Take Off juice (on special but still pricey.) I just found this board and think it's wonderful! So much information and folks willing to share!

Too bad I didn't find it before my weigh in and purchase. Now I know. Looking forward to getting to know ya!
