Patti - they really are lovely pics aren't they. It's even better seeing it for real. I can't wait to go there again.
Nancy - the sand at the beach is hard to walk on, and it was SOOO hot I was practically hopping across it. When I went to Mumbles bay the other week the tide had gone out and although there was a lot of dry sand there was also a lot of muddy stuff. Daren weighs less than me, so he got across it fairly well, me....I went down to my ankles in it lol. It was really funny, shame I had to get the bus back to town though lol.
Melissa - any loss is a good loss, so on you your 0.5 loss!! Good on you for walking a lot too. I love to walk to the shops now, it's a great way to exercise, plus it saves me money I would have spent on a taxi or bus
Crock - WOW, I tell you girl you are never going to have a stall on your weight loss. Another 3 lbs is awesome You should be so proud of yourself, you really have made the lifestyle change. Hope you enjoyed your birthday, let us know what you did to celebrate.

Xena - you are right that we miss out on a lot of great things because of our size. Some of the stuff is because we are too embarrased at our size, and some is because physically we just aren't able to do stuff like fit on rides. I think one of the reasons I actually felt ok about being seen in my swimming costume and shorts is because I feel good about myself. Oh I know I am still huge, but I know I am doing something about it it and that makes me feel great.
Well done on being prepared to go to your dads and being able to say no to any sweets because you took a watermelon to eat. What a great idea, and I am glad it worked
I love your stickers idea too, where do you put the ones you earn, have you made a wall chart, or do you keep them in a book? I used to like it when I went to WW and had a pretty silver 7 for every 7 lbs I lost. I never made it far enough to get any other stickers, but I hear they are pretty cool, lol.

So far my Birthday.. day, has been,,,,well... not to well... Austin woke up this morning and I swear with a gleam in his eye to be a rebel.. I have been at wits end with him today,, I never have a problem with him, I dont believe in sturn discapline,, )(My fathers temperment was just a little too much growing up!) and I dont believe in yelling at a child. but I have raised my voice a dozen times today.. I have had well wishes from my 3fc family and THANKS for that,, But Kim and Ted decided to take all day to come home, I have yet to see them, and I wonder why they did not try to come home earlier,, it was 4 pm before she even called to wish me a Happy birthday, so who knows what the **** they are thinking, perhaps I take my Birthday a little to seriously. all I expect for my Birthday is the ones that I love and love me just take an extra step that day,, That is what I do.. Maybe I am being childish, BUT that is what I expect........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !
