Happy Valentine's Day Chickies!

Just thought I'd stop in for a quickie! I've been OP all week - eating right at 28 pts. I can't go over, since I ate ALL my 35 flex points in one day! But tonight will be a bit of a stretch. I'm making Chicken Cordon Bleu for dinner (about 5 or 6 pts) rice and broccoli and I made a Oreo Cake (WW friendly) for dessert. DH didn't get me candy. I told him not to. He got me flavored coffee for my one-cup coffee maker. And roses. He needed to do good after the weekend we had. Went thru all that on the old hen's thread...don't want to rehash it here.

Ms. Crockett: You are right...I have it pretty good really. But sometimes things have to be addressed. As for not having a man...I had a really bad 1st marriage. Trust me when I say no man is better than the wrong man. The right one comes when least expected.

Christine: My ears (eyes?) perked up at the Renaissance Faire costume comment. How long have you done renfairs? Do you just go as a patron or are you a rennie? I love renfairs and help put on our local one here, which is really a promo for the KCRenfest. It's a little one-day festival, but great fun. Lots of work...but I get to go to KC as a VIP, so well worth the work!

Heather: WTG on the 100 lbs! I can't imagine how the heck you lost 40 in one month...but as long as you are doing it healthy another big

Honiangel: I just buy commercial stir-fry sauce. Can't remember the name offhand. I'm on WW and it adds about 2 pts a serving...but it's easy and good. There is a yummy WW "bourbon chicken" recipe on line. It isn't really bourbon chicken, since there's no bourbon in it, but it's more like the sauce on General Tso's - nice and spicy. Do a search for "Weight Watchers" "bourbon chicken" and you should find it.

Well, gotta run. Time to fill my water jug! Later ladies.

Honestly, I am not sure how I lost all that? I am low sodium which cuts out all processed and box type dinners. On top of that I try to choose low fat when I can.

My mom gave me a weight watchers point slider and I use that to find better choices for snacks and such.. I am not really following WW though..

I think that they must have weighed me high in January and that I lost the weight somewhere between Nov 2004 and today.. just not 40 pounds in one month ..LOL
