TeaLeaf I hear ya, that's why I joined Jenny Craig...it's a diet based on frozen meals.

I think eating them once in a while is okay but making them a staple probably isn't the best thing.
I disagree. For many people, meal replacements like Lean Cuisine help crowd out higher calorie and less healthy alternatives, which is a major improvement for those folks.

I actually buy Lean Cuisines for my husband, who likes the pizzas.

I figure it's better to give him a 350 calorie pizza than have him go out and buy whatever appeals to him at the moment *shudder* when he wants a snack other than the traditional bowl o'cereal!

And once in awhile, I'll even have a LC pizza myself. I like the Margarita Pizza - it may not be Digirono, but it's not bad for frozen, in a pinch.

I tried JC for a week about 3 or 4 years ago. I got cranky that I was paying so much for the food. Basically, I felt like I was paying someone 3 - 4 times what I would pay for the same food because they were counting the calories for me.

Unfortunately, I have to live my life pretty Budget Aware. /sigh

Bleh, LC Pizza.

I could tell you the LC's I like & the one I would never buy again.

Mac & Cheese
Spicy Thai Chicken
Baked Fish & Shells
Chicken Piccata
Southern Beef Tips
Chicken Carbonara
Turkey & stuffing & Apples

The one I would never buy again:
Glazed Chicken

They are high in sodium for me (HBP, caused by PKD), so it's not often that I have one. But in a pinch they work out quite nicely.

There is a Reviews Section here, where you can find out more info on the individual flavors.

Do not expect to be filled up by one. Balance it out w/a glass of milk & piece of fruit.

Default Boxes are easy to shop for

another thing I like about Lean Cuisine's versus most other brands...

they have the calories and fat grams on the front of the box. So when I'm browsing in the frozen section i dont have to open the door and flip the box around to see it. I can look at them from the window. Very nice

I love the Lean Cuisine meals! My favorite is the spinach & mushroom pizza, could eat it every day (not too good for the carbs though! :-)
I had the Teryaki steak bowl today, not my favorite but still good. It was definately filling though.
