Sandi,

As I have said to you before, you are truly an inspirational person - even if you don't feel that way. You have done a good job of staying focused on what you are trying to achieve even if the scale doesn't always move the direction we want it to. Each step takes you one step closer to being where you want to go. A few years ago you may not have made the connection between thinking about the donut and acting on it - now you are at a place where you are making conscious decisions and that is WONDERFUL!! Yay.... I know I have mentioned this before but I am going to mention it again. Food can be very addictive and changing ones eating habits is similar to any other addictions - those donuts are going to call your name for awhile but eventually you will have the control and you will make the choices that will be best for your health. It is the connection between physical and emotional. Please get the book Changing for Good by John Norcross. You won't regret it. It will help you, I promise!

I am so happy you have gone to Weight Watchers. Your leader sounds like a fantastic person and a good source of "in person" support! Best wishes and we will do this together!

Sandi,

Hi! I just read your letter to your son and I can tell you I feel the exact same way! I have a 3 year old and I want to play on the park equipment and fit in amusement park rides and take him to the beach! I know how hard it is especially with little ones to eat healthy and stay OP ! Just reread that letter for inspiration and think about your eating choices everytime you see his little face! We will loose the weight!!! Take care !

Good Morning

Sandi I recently read your letter to your son. I was so just and identified so much it brought tears to my eyes. I am currently a single parent and feel what if something happened to me??? What would become of my son? He has no contact with his dad and I want to be there to comfort him and protect him from everything and anything. I want to play ball with him. Thank you for sharing that letter. You are so courageous to share that for all to read your vulnerability, hopes, and dreams. Thank you again. We are all humans with feelings, desires, and needs, even if we are overweight.
