I got the ways and means
To new orleans I’m going
Down by the river
Where it’s warm and green
I’m gonna have drink, and walk around
I got a lot to think about oh yeah
- Concrete Blond

How is your walk going today ladies? Why are you looking forward to going to New Orleans? Not only is Mardi Gras the biggest party of the year, New Orleans is one of the most historical cities out there. Tons of beautiful architecture, a european flavor, and more. When I get there I'm taking a tour of the creepy graveyards!

Have I told you ladies yet how very awesome you are? Look at all this progress you have made!

My Calculations show that together we have walked a total of 1706 miles already! I am in awe of you all!! Lets keep going!

Oh and our step off point? Atlanta Ga :-) I didnt have a particular locale, just the city center. New Orleans I do have a specific desitnation programed, Cafe Dumond, home of Cafe Au Lait and Begneits true Mardi Gras treats.

So,

5 days x 4 sets of stairs ( aprx 2 minutes a flight) = 40 minutes (miles)

pretty soon, you'll see me again as you lap the route!

Saturday, Jan. 17!! I’m on my way to Atlanta and don’t have a marching song to sing today except one of my exercise mantras, which I’ve posted before: “I’m a woman on a mission, I am, I am; I’m a woman on a mission and I’m not just going fishin’; I’m a woman on a mission, I AM!” No applause, please!

Howdy, SJ! Thanks for all thy work on this challenge ... I think my tally is kind of hard to follow ... basically my overall total so far is 795; week one was 371, week two 354, and current week so far 70!!!! I'll try to pm thee as well. Sorry for the unclarity ... I've been keeping a weekly tally and then just truncating it down to a total for each week ... with the overall current tally on top ... I know that's about as clear as mud!!!!

Be back later ....

Happy to report my travels have been relatively painless.

Week one - 332
Week two - 372

So I think that puts me a bit on my way back to Atlanta.

Third week so far -

Yesterday - Trekking Downtown Disney with the princesses and their royal Mum - 120 (and that's conservative).

Today so far - Walking around a little pond - 20 minutes; Doing leg exercises in the whirlpool (which was malfunctioning and cool) - 25 minutes.

Am feeling more fit if not any thinner.
