How about diet sparkling water? its cheap (like 68 cents a liter at walmart), it tastes great and doesn't have sodium like diet soda does (but still has the fizz) It is my new Soda!

I don't see quite how you can perceive my comment as rude... I was just chiming in on the subject and sure, you can disagree, but I think the only people coming off as rude are you. I was just saying how ridiculous it is that there's so much bad stuff in diet sodas or any other diet foods or beverages and I don't see how I could have offended anyone.

One of the things you need to remember when on the Internet is that it is very difficult to judge tone. Take caution with how you post because others can perceive it differently than you intend.

I agree that you came off as attacking someone else for their viewpoint. Remember, this forum is filled with thousands of members with thousands of different viewpoints. Just because you read something on the Internet doesn't immediately make it true for each and every one of them.

But obviously I'm not allowed to have my own viewpoint. You know, i did say you could disagree and I'm not saying my statement is the final word (cause, granted, i am not an expert in that area) but I am pointing out the latest research. But I am just shutting up now.
Peace out and don't hate on me, please.

It was this, NOT the fact that you have a differing opinion. It was that you mocked my advice by saying it was "hilarious" after directly quoting me.

I could not care less if someone has a different opinion than me, I welcome it. It happens on here ALL the time. I have learned so many things on 3FC by reading differing opinions than my own.

You are being defensive, and the fact that you are completely unwilling to "hear" what everyone is saying by making it about a differing opinion just shows that you, in fact, may be the one who is unwilling to listen to different opinions.

Nope, it might be... simply that I am a total idiot at expressing myself. Look, i am terribly sorry and of course it was not supposed to offend you or sound anything like it. So now I will go and embarrass myself elsewhere if I may...
