Oh my goodness, my weight was waaaay up this morning, so I didn't record it. I'm hoping it will be down in the morning and I'll feel better about putting it on the charts.

Riestrella - I am determined to stay on track with the next challenge! Looking forward to it! For some reason, I lose the most weight between the months of August and October....happens the same time every year, so maybe that chart will be the one for me!

My weight is still up from last week, but oh well, it was time to record it and deal with it. :|

SGregg- my weight goes up randomly and then I'll usually have a whoosh but there is really no way to explain why because I don't cheat when that happens.

Ok, so I really think I can make my goal by the end of the next challenge! I realized as of today I am 20.4 lbs away from goal, and that means that if I loose 1 lb a week I can get there in time and even not loose a week or two. I hope I can make it happen. We shall see what the scale says in the am...

I'm definitely going to do the Halloween challenge! Check out the dress I'm making for Dragon*Con!!!

For you Doctor Who fans, I'm going to turn that dress into a TARDIS dress. *squee* I'm so excited! I'm already working on it.

ohmygosh! I love that dress! I wish my sewing skills were better so I could make it for when I need neo Victorian costumes (That pops up more than you would think it would haha).

Also awesome you're going to Dragon*Con! A company called MayFaire Moon makes a tardis corset, I saw it earlier this year and it's really cool. Though, their corsets are super high quality so they cost like a billion dollars.. but it is neat that it exists.

Musical love that dress!!! So cool.

I check groupon & living social pretty regularly, and one came up today for a fitness studio nearby. They specialize in yoga (not really my thing) but they have a kickboxing class, and a zumba class....oh and a bootcamp class! I'm thinking about buying the groupon and trying it out.

A little intimidated to walk into a kickboxing class. I'll keep y'all posted if I decide to buy it.

Leila - Oh my goose, 16" is AMAZING! Be so proud of your loss and all your achievements!

meltaway - Oh man, I know what it's like to want that landmark weight so bad! I'm currently right on the border of HEALTHY and I've been around 152-155 lbs now for a few months =S. You can do it, girl!

sgregg - Yay, another halloween challenger! That's quite strange how you lose weight around a certain time of the year! Don't worry about the gain, best to stay accountable than to run away from it *hug*

crazygurl - Hells yeah you can make it! I've got around 20 lbs to lose too, perhaps we can both make our goals?! I never like giving myself a time limit, but secretly I'm really hoping I can! Have you got a plan?

MusicalA - That dress is B!TCHIN'! So awesome! Not sure I can picture it as a tardis?! But that's nerdalicious!

QB - Don't be intimidated! Kickboxing is awesome for you. When you're holding the pads and getting kicked you tense up your abs and you get SO sore. I love that feeling!

Hey everyone! I'm loving the fact that people are getting buzzed about the Halloween Challenge! Whoop whoop! I've done the spreadsheet but I'm going to wait until the 11th June before I post up the thread and get those sign ups rolling. So look out for it then! Just over a week to go! The Bikini challenge will still be running at that point, so don't forget to post back here and stay accountable in our awesome summer spreadsheet! The reason for the overlap is because it's exactly 20 weeks on the 11th June until Halloween, and considering this was a 25 week challenge I wanted to keep the length similar.

I'm doing better these days, I've had a complete stall in the last few months. My scales have been stuck between 152-155 lbs and considering 149 will mean I'm in the healthy BMI region it's agonising to be this close! But in all fairness, I was eating poorly and not staying on top of my exercise, so it's not like a mystery as to why there's been a stall. I'm trying my best to keep running and eating a lot healthier - a lot more salads in my life! So fingers crossed I can have one of those magical WHOOSHES before the challenge is over and reach my amended goal of 149 lbs!

Also, on a side note, a stranger asked me out at work yesterday! Granted I have a boyfriend and had to turn him down, but it was such an ego boost! That's never happened to me before! I made sure I was really nice and made it less awkward by talking for a little bit, but yeah, I said it made my day which it did.

I'm going on holiday in 5 weeks time, and I don't have a bikini yet!! I'm hoping we can all post up a picture of our lovely bodies as I want to make a collage of our progress! I will be having a little award ceremony, nothing too complicated I'm going to just make a few little award pictures for the top 3 winners in both the overall and challenge charts! If you are in the top 3 for the overall AND the challenge, then I'll be awarding the next person in line for the challenge prize so more people get recognition.

So I hope you can all be on board with the pictures and the such! I think it'd be an awesome celebration of us sticking this out and staying by each other since JANUARY! We're like a little family!

Hi Rie- Yes we can do it! My plan is to be consistent with gluten free, low carb, and calorie counting. And maybe exercise-once this arm heals!

Hi everyone!

Musical- love the dress!

Leila- you go girl!!!

I have finally reached the 170s after 5 1/2 months of being in the 180s (thank you, Weight Watchers!). And although I will not reach my goal by challenge end, I am so glad to be out of those stayed-past-their-welcome 180s. Good luck, everybody, and let's push through to the end!

MusicalAstronaut Awesome dress! You must have some great sewing skills, I'm totally jealous

Quiet Ballerina Sure try it all out and see what you think! I like doing a bit of Yoga myself but the time I went to a class the lady started talking about a "magical rainbow" and I totally lold and couldn't take it seriously. Enjoy kickboxing, I'm sure it'll be great.. and everyone has to start somewhere.

Riestrella Cheers I hope you get a whoosh soon! I find that salads help a lot because I eat a smaller portion of dinner and add a big salad on the side and my plate is super full. You're so close though, I hope you get there before the challenge is up! You can do it! Lovely idea with the awards too, that'll be nice. I definitely won't be wearing a bikini but ehhh..

princessgina congrats, that's great!

-----
Around the time I joined this challenge I made a list of weight loss goals/rewards and I just found it back and it says that if I reach 148 by the end of this challenge that I get new shoes haha.. I have no memory of that, I think I was just making stuff up at the time because it seemed so far away. Aaaaaand now I'm nearly there.. I'm not even much of a shoe person, but maybe some boots or something. Now here's some motivation..

I'm glad you all seem to think the dress is super cool too. I'm so excited. I'm working on the muslin version of it right now to get the fit right, then I'm going to do the real one!

I had a really great date last week. This is the first guy I've gone out with in a very long time that I actually might like. He's really attractive (which makes me a little nervous; what does he see in me? Haha) and we have a ton in common. I just feel really comfortable around him and have a lot of fun with him. Fingers crossed that our next date goes just as great.

Hooray for the Halloween challenge! I hope to see everyone over there!

Just a quick check in.
I got back from my mexico vacation yesterday then had to move to start a new hospital rotation. I'm so tired and jet lagged but it was worth it
I'm settled into the new place kind of, and had my first day at the hospital today.
I already have homework so I will try to catch up on personals later, just thought i'd pop in and say hello and share some pics.
I was really good the beginning of the week with the buffet, having 90% of my plate veggies and turning down desert but that slowly faded and I was fully enjoying the deep fried covered in sugar pastries by the end of the week. I did go to the gym everyday though. I have no idea how much I gained, I feel like its a lot but I dont have a scale at my new place. I'll have to use the gym one, but I'm ok with procrastinating that for a little while longer.
I forget who mentioned tanning, but I tan easily so I didn't get sun burned. my sister and mom didn't fair so well though
me on the left, sister on the right

hope everyone is doing well!
