Where to begin on this one? I am obsessed with tea. Right now I am really into various herbal teas from good4you on etsy. Her herbal chais are perfect.
For black tea I enjoy Yorkshire Gold. For green tea, I usually buy a bag of loose leaf from the tea stand at a nearby Japanese market. Those are my stand by's, but I've tried nearly every bagged tea that I've encountered.

What I suggest for a new to average tea drinker that they can get from their local supermarket would be celestial seasonings teas because they are decent quality with all natural packaging. But if you find yourself really enjoying tea, go check out your local tea store. It seems like you drop a lot of money on loose leaf teas in one go, but imagine how many pots/cups one bag would make vs how little the amount of tea is in prepackaged varieties.

I'm so glad to have read this. I've been eying their stuff for a while but unsure of how good it was. I'll definitely cave in and get something from that shop. Thanks!

As for the OP, I'm currently enjoying jasmine green tea by Triple Leaf Tea. It's so wonderfully fragrant. Right now, I'm craving chai teas and will probably buy a rooibos chai from Yogi teas.

I couldn't agree more! I am trying to drink it anyway. It smells like grass to me...bleh. I am hoping it's just an acquired taste...like beer

Bigelow Carmel Vanilla, by far the best damn tea I ever drank, & lemme tell ya, I have drank a ton of tea's over the years & nothing compares!!! Each trip to the store I stock up on 10 boxes of this stuff, because I love it so... Yah, I get my tea pee on!!!!! They used to make a Cherry Vanilla Bigelow tea also, but that sucker has been discontinued for years & I miss it so.
