JennyT, those frozen strawberry bars sound yummy. What is the brand? I'll have to look out for them. I hope you have a good day today even though you are alone.

As for me, I had a huge dinner at my mom's yesterday. I ate a lot of veggies, and a big slice of turkey, with some stuffing, and half a potatoe. I skipped the dessert except for a few bites of cake (and a sliver of ice cream). I still felt like I overate this week. I'll weigh in tomorrow so I'll know more then. The food was just so yummy. I skipped gravy, and went for the cranberries instead. Tomorrow should be telling...hehe. I haven't seen the vitatops, but I don't shop at Costco. Have you seen them anywhere else?

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I have seen the vitatops at Country Grocer (I think its just a local chain) and Superstore. They are a bit pricey, 4 for $5 but Costco they are 12 for $10.

I went for dinner and totally behaved Small amount of turkey, ham and stuffing, lots of veggies and small potatoes. No gravey, no dessert. It was hard though but the fact that I couldn't wear my favorite jeans to dinner because they were too baggy...it was an easy decision to turn down the pumpkin pie :P

Next trip to the freezer I will check the strawberry bars (downstairs and out in the garage and yes I am lazy right now haha)

Try and stick with it I preplan out my day first thing in the morning. Well breakfast, lunch and snacks anyways. That way I always know I have enough left for a good filling dinner and evening snacks. I am religious with my tracking, but I am sure I will relax with time. Weight in for me tomorrow whoohoooo!

0.6 pounds lost!? POINT SIX...really...I felt like I worked harder this week than any other week and had the least amount of loss...atleast it was still a loss.

The Leader tonight when I stepped on the scale said Oh good! And then she looked at my face and said oh no not good? lol I am not discouraged..ok maybe a little bit...but its going to push me to work harder this week!

Hope everyone had a good day!

Congrats JennyT! it is better then gaining. I think every week will be different for some reason..the body is weird.

Apparently I gained .5 week before last and then lost 4 pounds this past week..so it varies. I feel I may gain this week as I'm on my monthly girly thing and I feel so bloated..eek! Have a nice weekend everyone!

Congrats JoJo, I love those big number weeks!

I gained a pound this week but I lost 3 last week much seemed like too much for not being very good... My average is 1.6 pounds a week so far so I am not letting this tiny gain get me down.

Makinthechange - I would say it is definitely the monthly thing screwing you up this week.

Thanks for the positive words, I haven't let it get me off track!

This morning I tried something new for breakfast, and if you knew me you would know that I am not very adventurous when it comes to trying new foods etc. I made instant plain oatmeal and mixed in about 1/3 of cup of plain pumpkin (not the pie filling) and added in some nutmeg and cinnamon. It was SO good and filling, tasted like warm pumpkin pie and it was only 2 points!

Have a great weekend, its beautiful here on the west coast!

makinthechange: I know whatyou mean about the girly thing. I gained 1.5 pounds this week I think in part because of TOM. I was so bloated and my appetite was ravenous. Good luck this week!

Jelma: Thanks! Hope you had a better week!

JennyT: That pumpkin with oatmeal sounds delicious. Did you just scrape it out of a pumpkin or canned pumpkin? I just restarted eating oatmeal. I hadn't eaten oatmeal in quite awhile, and now I'm eating instant regular oatmeal and adding frozen raspberries on top with a quarter cup of milk. It is quite filling and tasty. Good luck this week on your weigh in! Let us know how it goes.

Hey Jojo! It was pumpkin from a can, I am not that adventurous lol My weigh in last week left me a bit dissapointed, hoping for better tomorrow! Plan on hitting an aquasize class after the meeting but I will update when I get home.

Have you been going to the gym yet? I used to have a membership and just couldn't seem to fit it into my day no matter how hard I tried. Hope you have better luck than I did!
