To be fair - that's exactly how I found it! When I was heavy, I spent a lot of time dreaming about losing weight. I used to LOVE to peruse the "diet/health" section of the book store. I picked up Super Foods Rx: 14 Foods That Will Change Your Life - and whammo. My life is changed

I'm actually hungry a lot of times. I avoid foods that other people get to eat, and sometimes fail and eat the wrong thing, but the next day it is back to simple common foods, no restaurant food, no fast food, just boring chicken breast and collard greens or something plain like that. I don't have "special feasts" on holidays, I don't eat dessert, or cappuccino, or dough nuts at the office, or snacks. A lot of people can't live in denial like this.

Hmmm, why are you limiting yourself to boring chicken breasts/collard greens and plain food? With the internet, there are literally thousands of healthy, low cal, tasty meals at your fingertips.

I made a fabulous stir fry last week with lean pork loin, tons of veggies, a tasty sauce made from chicken broth, soy and a little honey. I served it over a measured portion of brown rice and I didn't feel deprived at all - it was SO GOOD.

Last night, I had ground turkey tacos on 3 blue corn shells. I topped it with a tiny bit of low fat cheese, tons of salsa, romaine, tomatoes, a little avocado (which truthfully, I would have skipped while I was losing, but I'm maintaining now), I had a dollop of refried black beans on the side. It was also SO good, and I get to use the leftover seasoned turkey for my salads this week.

One of my favorite meals is maple glazed salmon over brown rice with a steamed green vegetable. It is simple, but delicious (marinate salmon in 1/4 cup maple syrup, some soy, some garlic powder), bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Delish!

There are WAY too many healthy yummy foods to eat boring stuff, if boring stuff doesnt make you happy!
